What are the best Richard Thompson Cds featuring him mainly on acoustic guitar and vocals.

I have one of him solo live that is great. I think it is called Small Town Romance.

I'd love to find some more of his cds that feature just him on acoustic guitar and vocals.

I saw Richard Thompson (fronted by Chris Smither - what a combo!) at the Minnesota Zoo last night. Richard did a great solo, acoustic show, and came back for THREE! encores!

I found the following information at this website:

It's $16.00 for each CD; limit 3 CDs per person. The proper title is "Celtschmerz: Live UK '98". U.S. postage and handling is $4.50 for the first item, $2 for the second item, $1 for each additional item (up to a total of $10). Canada: $5 first item, $2 second item, $ each additional item. And Overseas: $8 for the first item, $3 second item, $2.50 for each additional item. All payments must be in US currency. All checks must be made out to Frank Kornelussen. New York residents must add 8.25% sales tax to the order (inc, postage & handling) Allow 3-5 weeks for delivery.

Send all orders to:
Flypaper

I have quite a collection of RTs CDs and if I had to choose one, I would pick "Rumor and Sigh" which has some of the most requested tracks at concerts etc. There is a good compilation which has just come out although I don't know the name of it (having got most of it on the original CDs).It owuld be on his web site.

Flypaper also handles a CD called 'Live at Crawley' recorded in 1993 with Danny Thompson. It's well worth having if you love acoustic RT.
