No, I don't want to stalk him or the house number or anything butI was listening to Mirror Blue today and in the MGBGT song ( my favourite car in the world) he mentions the Hogs Back, a local road I just happened to be tootling ( alright, speeding like a maniac) along at the time. It occured to me that only locals are likely to know it as the Hogs Back and I wondered if he was local to the Guildford area.....anyone know?

Richard's wife, Nancy Covey, has a business called Festival Tours that is based in the L.A. area, so I'd assume that's where they live.

I was certainly under the impression he still lived in London - probably simply because I've neve heard it suggested otherwise.

Almost certainly the "Hogsback" referred to is the Guildford one.

I've always known it as the Hogs Back, and certainly it's noted as such in several maps I've had over the years.... it's only since 1985 it's been given it's number only....

Terri, Richard splits his non-touring time between homes in London and California.

He was brought up in London, so would have local knowledge.
