Hi Chance,

Please expect four more folks. We will have Bridget & Derek Seed visiting us from the UK. He wants to do some trad. singing while over here and this seems an excellent opportunity. We haven't checked with them yet, but we will probably all be there. Thanks for doing this.

Judy & Dennis Cook

Slight change. We're going to be in the back of the Pub in stead of the front. I've asked the pub owner to special order Strong Bow cider for Micca.

Jock Morris/Scott: which end do you fancy? The Castle or Holyrood House? I already got turfed off the Castle Esplanade when some of us from Scots Music Group tried to play a tune or two during the "Millenium Music Live" bash last year: "you can't do that there 'ere" says Mr Jobsworth of Edinburgh Castle, who had obviously not heard of this major nationwide musical event, promoted by none less than the British Broadcasting Corporation; so we retreated down the steps to Johnston Terrace where he had no jurisdiction and were appreciated by a handful of tourists. So maybe I'll take the Holyrood end this time, Jock and you can charm Mr Jobsworth with your concertina on the Esplanade! Tattie B

'Catters and allies:

The singaround will be at the front of the pub. (Look in the window as you approach.) All musical genres are welcome, but it's all acoustic. It will be a continuous 'round robin' sing with me facilitating (directing traffic).

Parking is available accross the street in the Chevy Chase Bank after 5. One block up Price Ave. on the right is public parking. If full, turn right on Fern at the corner of that lot and there is a free parking garage 1/2 block on your left. So lots of parking two blocks away.

Come for dinner with Micca and us if you can, Ian Morrison, the chef, studied at the Charleston SC Culinary School, and the food is REALLY GOOD, way beyond the usual pub fare and the prices are reasonable as well.

Hope to see you there. Chance

For the record: I was only joking. Kitties will remain safe at home. My prefer Friskie Treats to Pounce or salmon, Bill.
Captain Morse? Do you feed or paint that giant hairball named Seamus? Give him a hug for me.

Nothing wrong with my points, Alan... :0) but I did make a mistake. The RyanAir offer was for £9.99 flights, but only to European destinations, sorry.

Did you say £4.99 flights Noreen? Details please! ... But perhaps like me you were never very good a decimal points?
Have a great time Micca!

washtub full of kitty litter, big bowl of water and lots of Friskies dry food...(or do they demand their hand-fed Salmon slices?)

I have managed to go for 3 days with no bad results beyond baleful glances when I returned

it's having to take the extra day off work...(and livestock duty at home) otherwise I would do it in a minute.

*sigh* sometimes I wish my parents hadn't been quite so successful in installing those good New England ethics (work and guilt) in me.

Pene Azul, thank you very much for the editing and grafting.

JenEllen, worry not, I'll see he doesn't catch his tail in a crack.

MMario, if you do drive down we'll give you bed and breakfast and buy your first beverage. Tempted?

Noreen, oh no, he says Woodpecker won't do, he must have Strongbow or Dry Blackthorn. Oh well, he is our honored guest, and we've order his pleasure!

Diva, I prevail upon him to favor us with his prize-winning song.

Well, Tatie Bogle, I'll organize my on my end if you will yours. We'll be beginning at 8:00 Eastern Standard Time, I bit late for you I imagine, but...

Bill D. I'm so glad you're going to make it. It wouldn't be right without you. Start packing now, so you'll not be rushed.
