There is mention of him playing 4 gigs in Dublin last year in the venues section at http://www.christymoore.net/ but that is all I can find.

It was announced last year that he'd given up performing for good because of his health.

Christy has made a TV series for RTE and is performing rarely and in small venues (for health reasons)

Christy played a benefit gig here in Wexford last week.It sold out despite the fact it was advertised by word of mouth only. It was to help local singer songwriter Pierce Turner who had all of his gear nicked a few months back.Also appearing was another local man Declan Sinnott, plus Frances Black,Leo O'Kelly (Tir na Nog), playwright Billy Roche (Pierce's cousin) and Pierce himself. Agreat night was had by all of the 500 people who attended, sadly I was not one of them.
