50... no, it's obsessive-compulsive gits like you who can't resist reading what you are complaining about and then complaining about what you are reading. Turn the damn channel. I'm sure there is a deeply profound folk song which will eminate from this thread.

Yeah, sharp fingernails of any length are scary, especially when used as a body hair remover.

THIS sort of thread is the REAL reason why Mudcat will lose it's "funding". It isn't guests and flamers that turn people off, it's this sort of idiotic conversations that will do it. Who needs flamers when we have this sort of stupidity to rely on?

I can't believe I'm stepping into this swamp, but does anybody out there remember Dennis Weaver's character on Gunsmoke...Marshall Dillon's pal, the deputy with the limp, Chesthair Goode? That settles it for me. Now, what about those two inch long talons some women insist on wearing?!?

A friend of mine...the notorious Yurko Slobodovich. He had a job a while back "sexing" musk ox. That is, he had to examine them to separate males from females. It's reportedly difficult and dangerous, but that's never been know to dissuade Yurko. He relishes danger.

I have been known to shave my arms between the wrist and elbow, reason been I worked as a alaughterman on a poultry unit, and birds do not like been killed and tend to shit all over whoever is handling them, hence shaving arms makes it a bit easier to wash the turkey shit off. This was one of the less pleasent jobs I have done, decent money but working envioroment not too pleasent (turkey shit gets everywhere, even in your ears)!

I like some chest hair on a man, but bare is better than overly bushy.

As for shaving and eczema - if I shave, I get big ugly acne spots all over my body, plus several ingrown hairs, so I don't shave! The worst was once when I tried to shave my bikini line. I still have a couple of scars from the inflammation that resulted. I just keep all my hair very soft with oils and herbal preparations, and wear boy-cut bathing suit bottoms to hide the pubic fuzz when in public.

When I was a kid, I was pestering my dad to let me taste coffee, because it smelled so good. Well, he finally gave in, and I didn't like the taste much, and then when he said "that'll put hair on your chest" I gave him a totally HORRIFIED look, and almost dropped the cup!

It took him a while to realize that no, a female is not likely to want to get hair on her chest! Fortunately, it didn't prove to be true. But maybe that's why I never really got to like coffee?

nothing better than snuggling (after) and running your fingers through curly chest hair on a man. as for Rick Nelson and Capt Kirk they are only fit to look at and puke! Give me Nick Nolte any day, or Sean Connery. think i will just settle for my Warrior Marine

Helborama--your friend obviously suffers from a rare condition known as "Cookie Monster Syndrome"; a complete moratorium on "Sesame Street" viewing may help.

Otherwise, just take her to a bakery & leave her there!

Well hello everyone!!! good morning and welcome. As I have said before a slight covering of chest hair on a male is ok but I was engaged (until september when I dumped him) for 3 years to someone who really did resemble an ape and had a huge empty space between his ears where his brain should have been. Due to this unfortunate pairing I have been greatly put off excess body hair. When you want to snuggle with your chosen partner on a night you get a face full of yukky body hair!!

Jez says that body hair sometimes comes in useful especially if they don't have 'love handles'........apparently it is something else to hold on to if you get what she means!!!!!

An almost hairless catsPHiddle!!!

ROTFLMAO? What does this mean. I can't remember. Not only do me and catsPHiddle shave our legs and underarms and bikini lines etc, we also shave our arms, full length!! We are asthmatic and suffer from excema and apparently the less hair on your body, the better your excema is. I don't know why, but it does actually help. The forearm hair does grow back quite quickly though!!

Our house mate chris, bless his little cotton socks, is like an ape!! His chest is like the amazon and his back is like a grassland!! Makes it very unpleasant when he wants me to gove him a back massage!! I keep pulling the hairs out by accident.

It's ok though cos we've found the hair removal cream and we'll get his back one night while he's asleep!! He's very proud of his chest hair and wouldn't get rid of it unless someone paid him a hell of a lot of money!! It is very impressive though, I didn't know a 19 year old could grow that much body hair!! He doesn't like it when I use the eyebrow tweezers on his back hair though!!

As catsPHiddle said in an earlier entry, I don't really mind hair on a man, I quite like it in a lot of cases. I'm not a fussy person

A very mischevious JeZeBeL!! xxx

Well, I think this is a fascinating thread:

A bald-headed man asked me today why is it that they (men) get to a certain age and their hair stops growing on their head, but starts sprouting out of their ears?

Or for women: menopause (altho' I'm not planning on one of those :) - when the growth rate of the hairs on your legs slows down - giving you more time to deal with the fuzzy little moustache that appears on your top lip....

I'm horrified to be weighing in on so BURNING a topic so late in the day; that's what I get for going to work---sheesh!

Anyway, I agree that for the most part it really depends on whom the hair is growing out of, within reason. I'd say I prefer SOME hair, otherwise it seems sort of odd (except in the case of Le Shatner, of course; he who defies all ordinary standards!). On the other hand, those hairy-backed guys you see at the beach (almost invariably in Speedos---most perplexing, really) are not at all to my personal taste.

Obviously, hairy palms are right out, but rather than shaving, one could use that unfortunately named Australian product...NADS! I wonder if it's any good for blindness....?

The hairs on his chest they were two.
He wanted to fight like the he-men,
And do as the he-men do."

...and, it goes on, by tring too hard to prove himself, he got himself killed..

"....he died with two six-guns a-blazin',
But only two hairs on his chest"

funny...a phrase in German pops into my head:
"Es compt mich nicht darauf an." It doesn't make any any difference to me

".........It's one of several artifacts that round out the exhibit, included alongside such unique objects as a 1963 Alfred E. Neuman Model Kit, a 1987 MAD Squirting Stapler, and, most amusing of all, a 1962 MAD LP featuring such songs as "When My Pimples Turned to Dimples" and "Please, Betty Jane (Shave Your Legs!)." Alfred E. Neuman, rock star? In this MAD MAD MAD MAD world, anything's possible.

GOOD line there, artbrooks! LOL! I'll have to remember that one.

Thanks, Murray!

53 - Come on! I can't be expected to reveal everything....

Hair on women's bodies? Well, I don't mind armpit hair at all...if I like the woman. I don't demand a bikini line from anyone. I am sort of bothered by mustaches on females, and other facial or chest hair I find a little disconcerting...but...if I liked her enough that probably wouldn't matter either.

Oh, and leg hair...again, fine, if I like the woman. In fact, it's preferable to bristles, cos it's softer.

Janeway? Hmmmmm. "To Boldly Go Where..." Naw, well, she's not really my type, I guess.
