Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Daniel in the lions den From: GUEST,patrick geary Date: 05 Apr 17 - 08:30 PM as funny as all these snippets are, along with all the others i've found, my father's version is the best! I regret he's been dead for 35 years, and I never wrote it down during all those Thanksgiving dinners, when he'd have one too many drinks, and, with much cajoling, enter into a recitation. An excerpt: 'And Daniel picked up a dried and stiff lion and smote the king lustily in the balls. 'Ouch!' cried the king, 'That tickles!' 'What tickles?' 'Testicles!' Whereupon the king laughed because he had two, the queen laughed because she wanted two, and all the little princesses took out their tits and tittered... |

The bit I'll never forget from boyhood ( I didnt have a hood mind) was " and daniel was thrown into the lions den, and he was afeared. He shat a turd 3cubits wide by 10cubits long and the lions were afeared" |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Daniel in the lions den From: pavane Date: 19 Aug 02 - 05:16 AM There are several versions of this epic poem/prose available at llewtrah's bawdy song site. I will post a link later. None of them are much like the version I heard at school, though. |

Subject: Daniel in the lions den From: Fifer Date: 18 Aug 02 - 01:24 PM Can anyone help with the words to a poem or song about Daniel in the lions den. The only sections of this narrative poem I can recall go as follows. "My daughter is with child" said the king to Daniel, "What steps are you going to take?" "F****** LARGE ones" said Daniel. "Oh shit!" the king said, and 50,000 people heaved and strained, for the kings word was law in that land. |
