as funny as all these snippets are, along with all the others i've found, my father's version is the best! I regret he's been dead for 35 years, and I never wrote it down during all those Thanksgiving dinners, when he'd have one too many drinks, and, with much cajoling, enter into a recitation. Nice links! The bit I'll never forget from boyhood ( I didnt have a hood mind) was " and daniel was thrown into the lions den, and he was afeared. He shat a turd 3cubits wide by 10cubits long and the lions were afeared"

None of them are much like the version I heard at school, though.

Can anyone help with the words to a poem or song about Daniel in the lions den. The only sections of this narrative poem I can recall go as follows. "My daughter is with child" said the king to Daniel, "What steps are you going to take?" "F****** LARGE ones" said Daniel. "Oh shit!" the king said, and 50,000 people heaved and strained, for the kings word was law in that land.
