If you run a folk club or are responsible for booking people - these two would definately be worth booking. Karen's voice is powerful and needs to be heard to believed and Colin's guitar playing is kinda Richard Tompson + only better!

I recently bought a photocopier from him. When it arrived it was full of what I thought to be hundreds and thousands. I later found out that they were ants' eggs. I asked him to swap the machine and he continues to pretend to be Arabic and can't understand. The machine now just sits there emitting a foul smell and oozing a sticky liquid that has burnt a hole in the floor. Just thought I'd warn you what he is like.

In the thread about Kendall & Sorcha visiting the UK, Bill\Sables describes Barrow upon Humber as part of Yorkshire. Is this just because his geography is hazy about the southern boundaries of his county, or is yorkish expansionism about to rear it's ugly head ? I think you might have to consider raising a defence militia of sturdy Lincolnshire yeomanry to repel any planned invasion from the north. Perhaps Mr Sables' recent overseas trip was in order to find allies from other countries.

We will stand by ready to repel all invaders, Oaklet is, as we write, speeding up the armoured whelk cloning process in the hopes of being able to muster a full fighting force. However, he is having a few problems at the moment because a few of the more intelligent ones are claiming that they have not been provided with the necessary equipment for battle on the lincolnshire borders and are refusing to come out of their shells. As he is awaiting the results of an enquiry into the leaking of DeanMeister's name as the man responsible for falsifying sales figures for certain dodgy photocopiers, causing the man permanent psychological damage represented by the hats he has started wearing, Oaklet is at present under an awful lot of pressure. I'm sure he will rally round however & help us mount the defence of our beloved borders.
