Subject: BS: Recording (writing?)CDs from Vinyls on From: GUEST,Guest collector Date: 26 Apr 03 - 09:32 AM Can anyone help with advice about what equipment I require and what do I have to do to re-record some of my old Vinyl LPs on to CDs on my computer? I already have purchased an "Audio Cleaning Lab 3.0" from a Sunday Times ad which claims to do most of the job. Thanks for any assistance. |

Subject: RE: BS: Recording (writing?)CDs from Vinyls on From: WFDU - Ron Olesko Date: 26 Apr 03 - 11:00 AM Doesn't Audio Cleaning Lab come with instructions and suggestions? I'm not familiar with the program, but there should be instructions with the software that tells you how to hook up a turntable, the type of audio card that you need in your PC, and you will need a drive that can burn CD's. It should be simple. IF you have any 78's, make sure your turntable has a stylus made for 78's otherwise you will be adding all kinds of additional noise to your recordings. |
