Subject: BS: I know where Uday Hussein is! From: Little Robyn Date: 10 Jun 03 - 06:16 AM He sent me mail! He wants my help. Do others get these messages or am I just lucky. (I'm not going to help him!)(He thinks I'm a fella.) Robyn Dear Sir, I am Uday Hussein the first son of The former Iraqi leader President Saddam Hussein.I was priviledged to a lot of huge transactions during the reign of my father before the outbreak of Iraq war and collapse of my father's regime.Because of the imminent war and threat by the United States to freeze all assets and funds of the Hussein family, which is already on the way, I deposited the sum of US$45 MILLION as bond in a Security Finance Company. Right now I am looking for a reliable, trustworthy and competent businessman who will travel to Europe to lay claims to this funds on my behalf. This Funds was gotten as a result of the sales of petroleum to a French company allocated to me. This funds was deposited in a Security Company in Europe because of the war so that It will not be frozen by American and British governments. Upon your response showing your interest in assisting me, the said country in Europe will be revealed to you. Presently, I am in Iraq in an undisclosed location for security reasons where there is no telephone and fax communication for security reasons. I have entrusted all the documents covering the transaction and the deposit to my personal Attorney who is presently in London. Show your interest by contacting him on his email(wattyy@mail.com ). He will give you further directives as regards the claims of the funds and you would be required to give to him a letter of guarantee of trust to prove that the funds will be secured under your custody. You are to take 25% of the total sum for assitance,5% is mapped out for any contingent expenses in the course of the transaction, while 70% will be for me. If you are interested kindly contact my lawyer on the above email address and feel free to deal with him as it will not be safe for me to deal with you directly I look forward to receiving updates from my lawyer as regards your cooperation. Subject: RE: BS: I know where Uday Hussein is! From: Amos Date: 10 Jun 03 - 10:39 AM This is a new twist, and so timely, too! LOL!! I think you should forward it to Donald Rumsfeld. A hot lead!! A |
Subject: RE: BS: I know where Uday Hussein is! From: Bill D Date: 10 Jun 03 - 11:25 AM you are SO lucky!~ Probably not more than 45 million others got this message! Which, if my math is correct, and after expenses, would leave about 53¢ apiece. Do people who respond to these things ever wonder HOW Uday picked THEM? |
Subject: RE: BS: I know where Uday Hussein is! From: Little Hawk Date: 10 Jun 03 - 12:58 PM It's fate. Destiny. Serendipity. I ceased wondering long ago how I and only I could be the chosen one who receives letters from princes, government officials, bereaved widows, and other such people in a variety of distant countries who want to share millions and millions of dollars with me and only me. I am just one lucky guy, that's all there is to it. God loves me and wants to see me get filthy rich. Matter of fact, I have become so blase about it at this point that I don't even respond unless it's a sum of at least $50 million that is offered me. I mean, hell, you can only buy so many gold bathtubs and the thrill wears off, eh? - LH |
Subject: RE: BS: I know where Uday Hussein is! From: Willie-O Date: 10 Jun 03 - 03:06 PM I always (briefly) like seeing the latest mutations of the so-called Nigerian scam. This one, I think, breaks a standard rule of the scam, which is that the letter should be coming from someone who is related to someone who sounds vaguely highly-placed, but you have never heard of either the VIP or the actual message-bearer--who are usually two different people. I mean, really. Who'd fall for this one? So, Who's seen Hussein lately? |
Subject: RE: BS: I know where Uday Hussein is! From: Little Hawk Date: 10 Jun 03 - 03:14 PM You mean...it's not real??? I don't know where Uday is, but Saddam, as I have said before, is working as a short order cook named "Carlos" in Orillia, Ontario, and getting drunk most weekends. - LH |

Subject: RE: BS: I know where Uday Hussein is! From: Amos Date: 10 Jun 03 - 07:46 PM Actually there is a wannabe leader in iraq who is asserting Saddam has been spotted several times and is offering blood money bounty for each American soldier killed from his stolen stash. Problematic story, IMHO. A |
