Subject: RE: BS: Bush Heckled at Aussie Parliament From: GUEST,G W Date: 23 Oct 03 - 04:50 PM I'm surprised. Really surprised. I thought the Australians were on our side, the side of right and truth. I did not expect to find Al-Queda operatives in the Senate of a trusted ally, and I can see that stern action will be called for somewhere farther down the line, after peace and democracy have first been secured in more crucial trouble spots, like Iraq, Iran, and North Korea. I figure the Australians have about 3 years to smoke out these guys and get their own house in order, or we will have to do it for them, and don't think we won't if it comes to that. This administration doesn't back off from a fight when human liberty and freedom are at stake. |

Subject: RE: BS: Bush Heckled at Aussie Parliament From: GUEST Date: 23 Oct 03 - 04:08 PM Why don't all you Bush Haters just PM each other and save the rest of us from your daily pile of vomit? |
Subject: RE: BS: Bush Heckled at Aussie Parliament From: beadie Date: 23 Oct 03 - 03:40 PM Word has it that the President has offered, in exchange for their compliance with his nuclear demands, to elevate North Korea's status to being a member of the "Axis of Naughty." |
Subject: RE: BS: Bush Heckled at Aussie Parliament From: katlaughing Date: 23 Oct 03 - 03:21 PM I cannot believe they threw them out of their own senate because they chose to show dissent to that idiot! |
Subject: RE: BS: Bush Heckled at Aussie Parliament From: Amergin Date: 23 Oct 03 - 03:14 PM Yes and the two Senators who heckled him were kicked out of session for 24 hours. |
Subject: BS: Bush Heckled at Aussie Parliament From: GUEST,KenB Date: 23 Oct 03 - 02:49 PM Apparently, Bush is having some trouble keeping hecklers at bay in Australia. When asked about it, his spinmeister McClellan had this to say: ``That's the Australian Parliament for you.'' This follows the skeptical reception he received from Islamic leaders in Indonesia, and the Chinese and Japanese telling him "no thanks" when he suggested currency corrections that would benefit the US rather than the Asian economies... And then there is that Korean nuke thing. Doesn't seem like the leader of the free world has been able to buy himself much international goodwill abroad, does it? I wonder, was this trip scheduled to show that Bush and his policies have the widespread international support he doesn't have in Europe and the UN? |
