Now here's a real media-whore non-story about an incident that had nothing whatsoever to do with the Resident.

Bush unharmed after car breaches security

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- A woman said to have "snapped" from stress drove her car with three children inside past a police checkpoint and rammed it into an arena where President Bush had given a speech. Bush was unharmed and authorities said later she had never intended to hurt the president.

Bush was in his limousine ready to leave the building when the incident happened Saturday, a senior administration official said. He left the arena less than five minutes later from an exit about 40 yards from the car.

Authorities swarmed the car with weapons drawn and took away the driver and her children. Secret Service and local law enforcement investigators concluded after interviewing her that she had no intention of harming the president, said Ann Roman, a Secret Service spokeswoman.

"Essentially, she was trying to locate her mother-in-law, who was attending the president's speech," said William Jenkins, the FBI's acting special agent in charge in Jackson.

The woman, who was not carrying any weapon, was arrested for trespassing, Roman said in Washington, D.C.

A law enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity, identified the driver as Betina Mixon, 29, of Horn Lake.

Mixon, a nurse's aide and the mother of three sons, had been under stress recently because of marital problems and a hysterectomy, said her friend Amy Graves, of Walls.

"She just snapped," Graves told the DeSoto Times for its online edition Saturday.

When President Reagan went to Ireland to visit his alleged ancestral famoly home in Ballylooby in Tipperary, they set up all kinds of security barriers and cordons around the whole place. So when my father - in his eighties, and living a few miles away - was out driving, he ran into them and the Gardai stopped him and said he couldn't go that way.

So he told them he wasn't going to be told where to go in his own country, because of some visiting Yank president, and he drove on through. And noone tried to stop him. And it didn't make the papers.

There is some extremely hopeful news in that story! Now, this woman had absolutely no intention of harming anyone, but something made her almost kinda sorta run over that pipsqueak Texas turd. I interpret that to mean that she was being used as an unwitting tool by a higher force that is tired of the big-eared sumbitch and wants him gone. Maybe this was just God adjusting His sights! Yes, He missed, but it was just the first shot!

Remember, God, take a deep breath, let half of it out and squeeze, don't jerk, the trigger. You'll do better next time and if you just keep trying you'll hit the little fucker eventually.

umm... I think God is supposed to have cleverer ways to smite those who deserve smiting..lightning bolts, volcanos..etc. But since we can't be sure, I think we'd best stick to the ballot box and not presume to make such extreme recommendations.
