Subject: BS: Ta Micca/Towersey/Barn Folks From: JenEllen Date: 02 Dec 03 - 11:57 AM A huge bit of "Thank You" to Micca and all the lovely singers! I got the cd in the post yesterday and just got a chance to give it a listen this morning. Fantastic. Mini-discs and digital cameras are my secondary heroes today (Micca is the first, for putting this all together). You all look and sound wonderful. Thank you!! ~JenCookie |

The liner notes say it is a 'snapshot' of the August 2003 gathering, I'm green thinking there's more I haven't heard! |

Subject: RE: BS: Ta Micca/Towersey/Barn Folks From: Herga Kitty Date: 02 Dec 03 - 06:47 PM JenEllen I drove home from Whitby on the Friday so I could go and have a sing in the barn at Towersey on Saturday, and managed to get back for another sing on the Monday lunchtime. It was the second anniversary of my discovering Mudcatters at Whitby, joining Mudcat when I got home, and then finding more Mudcatters in the barn at Towersey on the Saturday. ("Finding" in the sense that they were all people I already knew, like LtS, Gervase and Micca.) But Towersey clashes with Bridgnorth, which is another Mudcat magnet... although Morty and Pixie managed to do both! Kitty |
