The intention is to keep that thread clear of comments, requests and answers, and have them dealt with in here, and since that thread can be edited, anything posted there may be deleted.

Somone should add an appendix on how to play different styles -- cajun, tex-mex, country-and-western, French, Django, and so on. Most of the books are oompah polka stuff.

Since I don't play many of those styles - I am unable to contribute much useful stuff on particular styles. I am interested in learning many of those styles myself.

I welcome contributions, even those in other specific threads.

If I can get sufficient useful contributions, I will be happy to incorporate such a relevant Appendix.

Thanks Robin. Now I have to go dig into the back of my music closet to see if that old accordion has been sitting the right way or not these past 2-3 years--umm, if it's in its original case, the case should be designed to sit that way, eh?
