I know this question has been asked before for different areas but we probably need an update anyway.

Anyone know any non-smoking folk clubs in the north west of England?

Preferably within an hours drive of Manchester but I could go further given the right inducements. (Eg. Good beer followed by a stay over at a house filled with 21 year old blond nymphomaniacs;-) )

Cheers

DtG

Thanks guys - I guess there will be no more coming but 3 ain't 'alf bad:-)

I shall put them on my list of places to vist soon. If any 'catters are in the vicinity of said clubs look out for someone short, overweight and bearded. You don't see many of them in folk clubs do you?

Cheers

Hi Dave,

The Railway at Heatley, near Lymm (both Wednesday and Thursday nights) doesn't seem to be bothered by smokers. The beer is VERY good, but not many nymphomaniacs I'm afraid. You would be more than welcome, as ever.

I hope you're well!

Cheers,

John

I have heard the Railway is good as well, John. Trouble is it is full of bloody mudcatters;-0

I hope you are well and fit too. Still running up and down big hills?

See you soon.

I have just heard (In a not very smokey club in Salford) that there is a new club in Stockport which may be non-smoking. Anybody in the know?

Cheers

A bit out of your territory, but the White Horse in Hertford has a monthly Sunday afternoon session upstairs in a non-smoking room.

Only trouble is last month someone suddenly smelt smoke in the middle of things, and it turned out the pub was on fire...

However it looks like its back in business - White Horse, Hertford - 18th january 2004

John J, when you say "not many" nymphomaniacs...
DtG, I reckon even as few as a couple each would be enough for you and me to share. What say you?

Any more on this rumour of a new club in Stockport?
