Subject: RE: BS: Top 5 TV Shows From: Don Firth Date: 25 Mar 04 - 02:37 PM Currently: The News Hour with Jim Lehrer (to tell me what's going on), NOW, with Bill Moyers (to tell me what's really going on), Masterpiece Theatre (to blow a little clean air through my head), Everybody Loves Raymond (to show me that life—no matter how dysfunctional—goes on), The Red Green Show (to keep life in perspective). A few from the past Northern Exposure, The Rockford Files, Mystery, Family, Babylon 5, Blake's 7. All incarnations of Star Trek (currently watching Enterprise, but I keep thinking, "Gene Roddenberry, we need you back!") Subject: RE: BS: Top 5 TV Shows From: Little Hawk Date: 25 Mar 04 - 11:06 AM Sopranos Trailor Park Boys That's it. They are the only 2 TV shows I've actually seen in the last 3 years, cos I haven't been watching TV except when I visit Raptor and watch his DVD's of those shows! I have to give both those shows 10 out of 10. Maybe even 11. Way back when I used to watch Star Trek Next Generation, and really liked it. Other than that, most of my TV watching was in the 70's. - LH |
