Subject: RE: BS: NEED HELP--Vote for Millard Fillmore From: Little Hawk Date: 27 May 04 - 08:38 PM They ALL lied about that one! It was equivalent to rolling an old drunk with his pockets full of valuable possessions (like Cuba, the Phillipines, Puerto Rico, etc...). Spain had no chance whatsoever in that war of national convenience. America even had "Butcher Wyler"...the Saddam of his day...with which to infuriate the righteous masses stateside. (He was the commanding Spanish general in Cuba, known for his ruthless counter-insurgencey efforts against the Cuban rebels...who were slowly winning anyway.) Okay, I'm off to vote again for Millard! |
Subject: RE: BS: NEED HELP--Vote for Millard Fillmore From: Blackcatter Date: 27 May 04 - 08:34 PM 15 to go. 688 more to pass Teddy Roosevelt - who was an f-in' liar concerning the Spanish American War anyhow (though American's first conservationist president). |

Subject: RE: BS: NEED HELP--Vote for Millard Fillmore From: Blackcatter Date: 27 May 04 - 06:34 PM Do you all realize that Fillmore is ranked #4 in first place votes? And I've been voting for him in the 2nd or 3rd spot for quite a while now to sort of even it out (and hopefully make the company think that he has a broad level of supportamong hundreds of people - not just a few freaks). And Vote for Madison he's close to passing "our current pretender." |
Subject: RE: BS: NEED HELP--Vote for Millard Fillmore From: Blackcatter Date: 27 May 04 - 05:59 PM You're right Irish S. - Shows you how much I pay attention to the Kerry ads and all. Interesting isn't it that we've have Navy men all in a row? Especially since the Navy dates from the revolution, yet no Navy vet made it to the presidenwcy until the 1960s. As for the rest - thanks - I was mostly going for the service experience that gave them their highest rank. I didn't know until I did the research that Lincoln served in the military. I love learning new things. |

Gonna git me one of them Real Dolls soon's I cash in all them Coors returnable bottles ah got ayaout theyer in th' bayack sheyed... I note that they do not have one that looks like Margaret Thatcher. I'm curently voting for: Fillmore (of course) Jefferson (much of the time to pass Reagan) Madison (to pass Bush) and anyone on the bottom - though not sure of McKinley - he wasn't much of a president. I'll keep voting for Frances Cleveland too - just for the heck of it, but I helped Hillary get on top. Send me one of them blow-up Hillarys too. Subject: RE: BS: NEED HELP--Vote for Millard Fillmore From: Little Hawk Date: 26 May 04 - 12:31 PM I have two basic objectives in mind when I vote. One is to put Millard Fillmore as far up the list as he can go, and the other is to put Hillary Clinton in top position (and she's not far off!). This will increase the chances of someone manufacturing a Hillary Inflatable Doll or some other kind of Hillary doll. |
Subject: RE: BS: NEED HELP--Vote for Millard Fillmore From: Blackcatter Date: 26 May 04 - 12:21 PM Well thanks Spaw. It's fun and it's something that fits with my lifestyle. I'm online nearly the entire day from 10am to 2am. I work most afternoons in another office and don't typically use the Internet there and don't vote from there. I work from home the rest of the day - managing websites, doing research and communicating with people so I'm online nearly all the time. I have a set up which reminds me about every 15 minutes or so to go and vote. Netscape Navigator has tabs so I can go back and forth. I don't vote every 15 minutes because I'm busy working too, but I've been averaging about 15 votes a day. It's fun - and it's allowed me to learn about the presidents. Plus - just think about it, they may never know that we're doing this and some day they may have a Fillmore doll - all because of us. I sure as heck will buy one! |
Subject: RE: BS: NEED HELP--Vote for Millard Fillmore From: GUEST,MMario Date: 26 May 04 - 12:12 PM Just think in the future they might do a documentary on this - I can see it now... In the early years of the twenty-first century - a slightly eccentric man decided to encourage his fellows to vote for the Presidential Action figure most desired. And he called these fellows the "Iron Voters"... whoops! - wrong flashback... anyway - by my calculations with just a hair over 1900 votes we could have all 18 candidates currently BELOW Dubya ABOVE Dubya. |
