I have gotten messages from 3 of the top nationally syndicated political cartoonists saying they enjoy my work.

I guess that means I will be moving on to something new soon.
The longest I ever stuck to one genre was 12 years.

If Chirac is supposed to be addressing Bush, he would use "mon cher Monsieur Bush"...unless he wanted to acknowledge Bush's claim to the Presidency, he which case he might say "Mon cher Monsieur le President" or something like that. "Ma chere" is addressed to the lydies, or, as SRS says, "Ma cherie", a diminuitive.
