Subject: Chicken Bloke on X Factor From: Rt Revd Sir jOhn from Hull Date: 05 Oct 04 - 06:03 AM Anyone see it? The bloke that auditioned last "I work in a chicken factory" was brilliant! I reall liked his attitude, so easy going, Simon Cowell was having a right go at him "Your Crap, worst singer I've ever seen etc" Chicken bloke was not bothered at all, "Thanks a lot"! I hope someone offers him a record deal. |

Subject: RE: Chicken Bloke on X Factor From: Rt Revd Sir jOhn from Hull Date: 05 Oct 04 - 06:23 AM Dave-It might be repeated on ITV2 [Sky or FreeView]. You missed the best singer of the lot, he was brilliant! He was so bad he was good, but Simon Cowl just didn't "get it"! |

Subject: RE: Chicken Bloke on X Factor From: Sttaw Legend Date: 05 Oct 04 - 06:29 AM Good idea jOhn I'll check, but I think they do an interview type prog with them all on the Sat night after the show on ITV2. It's still possible that some HERO out there taped it and is about to PM me asking where to send it too. |

Subject: RE: Chicken Bloke on X Factor From: GUEST,Mingulay Date: 05 Oct 04 - 06:51 AM Sorry all watched it but no tape. However, they seem to play endless repeats on ITV2. Thought he was amazing, mediocrity bordering on genius. He did seem to have a permanently surprised expression on his face as though he had sat on something which was still inserted in his posterior anatomy. I don't think he had the X factor, in fact I don't think he had an X chromosone. |

Subject: RE: Chicken Bloke on X Factor From: Rt Revd Sir jOhn from Hull Date: 05 Oct 04 - 06:55 AM I reckon he's wasted in that chicken factory! I bet it's a good laugh working there though, he's certainly got a natural talent. |

Subject: RE: Chicken Bloke on X Factor From: Ellenpoly Date: 05 Oct 04 - 07:29 AM I tuned in while channel surfing and got completely engrossed by the "talent". Sharon is a class act Simon needs to go work at the Chicken factory. ..xx..e |

Subject: RE: Chicken Bloke on X Factor From: GUEST,Jayne Lloyd Date: 05 Oct 04 - 01:56 PM The Chicken lad was brilliant. I was on the X factor myself on Saturday and we sat waiting with him and his family. He wins a lot of Kareoke competions and 'live' his voices are amazing. Apparently he did the full BeeGees thing on the Xtra Factor on ITV2 on Sunday Night/ Monday Morning. |

Subject: RE: Chicken Bloke on X Factor From: Blowzabella Date: 05 Oct 04 - 06:48 PM I'll bet that you won't be able to afford him by now jOhn - he'll probably want more than his bears for the night. Probably got an entourage and everything - will want white lilies and blue smarties in his dressing room. You should have kept quiet - might have got him cheaper - now you've created a market for him. Mind you - you never know - worth a shot...if he falls for your charm and erudite wit like many of us on here have, he just might do it... |

Subject: RE: Chicken Bloke on X Factor From: Rt Revd Sir jOhn from Hull Date: 05 Oct 04 - 07:04 PM I reckon your'e right Blowzabella, he'll probably be buying his own chicken factory soon! |

Subject: RE: Chicken Bloke on X Factor From: SINSULL Date: 19 Dec 04 - 03:36 PM From GOOGLE: "Chicken man was the MOST memorable guest ever." Robert Unwin (Can you believe the name?) "What do you do?" asked Simon. "I work in a chicken factory," replied Robert Unwin. "Good," Simon told him. Robert squawked through a few lines of Tragedy and was turned down. "I can carry on working in a chicken factory," he told Kate. The "chicken man" has landed a contract to advertise Walker's Crisps since his audition. Could he now take over from Gary Lineker? And what is his favourite flavour? |
