Fair comment. So I wouldn't even trust my (or the) English. But babelfish gives us this -
Ce n'est pas lui qui peut infliger les la plupart mais lui qui peut indure plus qui gagnera.

Not too sure about "infliger". Perhaps "faire les blessures".

And shouldn't all this be "faoi an líne"?
