Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Can anyone translate this into Irish? From: belfast Date: 17 Dec 04 - 08:20 AM Another "terroroist", Terence McSwiney, mayor of Cork, is the original source for the quote. I wouldn't trust my Irish to translate it |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Can anyone translate this into Irish? From: belfast Date: 17 Dec 04 - 08:37 AM Fair comment. So I wouldn't even trust my (or the) English. But babelfish gives us this - Ce n'est pas lui qui peut infliger les la plupart mais lui qui peut indure plus qui gagnera. Not too sure about "infliger". Perhaps "faire les blessures". And shouldn't all this be "faoi an líne"? |
