Subject: RE: BS: What will they stink up next? From: jacqui.c Date: 14 Mar 05 - 02:34 PM What the hell is wrong with good old fashioned alcohol? If you want a caffeine kick go get a coffee. I can just imagine closing time in the typical British town centre if this takes off. Not only will the lager louts be out of their tiny minds, but they'll be effectively high as well. Great fun for those who have to deal with the after effects. Anything for the next buck seems to be the motto of a lot of these companies. God rot the lot of them. |

Subject: RE: BS: What will they stink up next? From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 14 Mar 05 - 02:42 PM Aw, Christ! The only good thing about drunks is that about the time they get to be total pains in the ass they usually pass out and shut up. Drink that stuff and they'll be obnoxious and wide awake. |

Subject: RE: BS: What will they stink up next? From: Dave'sWife Date: 14 Mar 05 - 02:44 PM TORONTO (CP) - Molson Canada announced Sunday that you'll soon be able to buy a beer with a different kind of kick - caffeine. Molson Kick is a lager that will contain guarana, a South American plant that's a natural source of caffiene. The beer will be available throughout Ontario, Quebec and Western Canada beginning March 21 and in the Atlantic provinces on April 1. etc. etc...... Well, it beats Red Bull! |

Subject: RE: BS: What will they stink up next? From: Clinton Hammond Date: 14 Mar 05 - 02:47 PM And that aluminum 'bottle' is the worst kind of misleading propeganda... sure it -might- chill faster... but it also warms UP faster! That according to the experiments they did on Daily Planet.... And really... like Molson needs to WORK at stinking up their product... They can do what they want to that horsep!ss... it won't change the fact that I won't drink it... |

Subject: RE: BS: What will they stink up next? From: John MacKenzie Date: 14 Mar 05 - 02:49 PM Notice the Freudian slip in the last paragraph where it's called Molson Lick. Isn't aluminium blamed as a possible contributory factor to Alzheimer's??? Two lots of brain damage in one handy pack! Giok |

Subject: RE: BS: What will they stink up next? From: Rapparee Date: 14 Mar 05 - 03:03 PM First there's caffeinated water. Now this. Ya want coffee, drink coffee. Ya want beer, drink beer. If you can caffienated beer, mix 'em and try not to throw up on me because I'll get really annoyed if you do. I think I read somewhere that some group like Budweiser was going to do this in the States as well. A whole new untapped market, completely created by the beer companies. |

Subject: RE: BS: What will they stink up next? From: Rustic Rebel Date: 14 Mar 05 - 03:19 PM Bud did do it. (We talked about this in a different thread). I tried the Bud, forget the name but it tasted like a watered down kool-aid. Nasty tasting really. |

Subject: RE: BS: What will they stink up next? From: Dave'sWife Date: 14 Mar 05 - 04:42 PM That caffienated water actually comes in handy for me. I have a dear friend, a galpal, who is MASSIVELY addicted to caffeine. Her car seems to automatically turn off the road and into 7-11 parking lots wherever we go. it seems to know she needs a 32 ounce cup of cofee to survive any trip that last mmore then 5 minutes in the car. I began to carry liter bottles of something called Edge2O just in case! Sort of like carrying a can of gasoline in the trunk. Now Caffeine and beer? That's just wrong. |
