What the hell is wrong with good old fashioned alcohol? If you want a caffeine kick go get a coffee.

I can just imagine closing time in the typical British town centre if this takes off. Not only will the lager louts be out of their tiny minds, but they'll be effectively high as well. Great fun for those who have to deal with the after effects.

Anything for the next buck seems to be the motto of a lot of these companies. God rot the lot of them.

TORONTO (CP) - Molson Canada announced Sunday that you'll soon be able to buy a beer with a different kind of kick - caffeine.
Molson Kick is a lager that will contain guarana, a South American plant that's a natural source of caffiene.

The beer will be available throughout Ontario, Quebec and Western Canada beginning March 21 and in the Atlantic provinces on April 1.

And really... like Molson needs to WORK at stinking up their product...

They can do what they want to that horsep!ss... it won't change the fact that I won't drink it...

I think I read somewhere that some group like Budweiser was going to do this in the States as well.

A whole new untapped market, completely created by the beer companies.

That caffienated water actually comes in handy for me. I have a dear friend, a galpal, who is MASSIVELY addicted to caffeine. Her car seems to automatically turn off the road and into 7-11 parking lots wherever we go. it seems to know she needs a 32 ounce cup of cofee to survive any trip that last mmore then 5 minutes in the car. I began to carry liter bottles of something called Edge2O just in case! Sort of like carrying a can of gasoline in the trunk.

Now Caffeine and beer? That's just wrong.
