It was very undramatic in the end. Just a small fluffy fart and it toppled off it's axis.

We are not dissolving. We are spinning towards a big black hole. When it all goes dark, that's your lot.

Nah, we'd be going through a proccess of spaghettification if there were a black hole in the vicinity. See, i've spent many a productive hour watching the discovery channel at three in the morning...

Why is a black hole a black hole anyway? Isn't space....well...black? Apart from stars and things. A black hole is just an absence, really...

Don't. I just went...it's got some adverts for those abysmal 'motivational schemes', a smattering of pornography, and not much else...

And airamerica is about paintballing. Maybe the apocalypse will be brought about by a paintball fight?

Well, there's another good reason to be glad I'm stuck with this crappy dialup conection! It sucks for audio so, since there's no way I'm going to fight my lack of bandwidth to connect to either americaradio.com or airamerica.com my world is not dead!

Well isn't that just like the world? To end while I'm asleep?

No horsemen, no beast, not even a small fluffy fart (at least not one that I remember)

So then, what's this new place? Is there beer?

Nah, all that was wiped out by the small fluffy fart which came from the black hole...there was only ten pints left in the whole world, and they just happened to be left in my local. So, i drunk them...

If the world has ended that just confirms that you are all figments of my imagination.

Now THAT is scary!

The world actually ended on Doctor Who on BBC TV two weeks ago. It was a spectator event with aliens lining up to watch. And it went with a bang, not a whimper!
