Subject: RE: BS: purgatory were is it From: Jerry Rasmussen Date: 22 Apr 05 - 05:37 PM There is actually a Purgatory in Minnesota. Story is that the area was very swampy, and difficult to cross and when settlers moved through the area and were asked where the came from, they said that the went through Purgatory. It's near Eden Prairie, Minnesota, wher one of my Uncle's lived. That cracked me up too. Only a Midwesterner would picture the Garden of Eden on a prairie. Jerry |

Subject: RE: BS: purgatory were is it From: LadyJean Date: 22 Apr 05 - 10:11 PM Pittsburgh is a fine city, Azizzi. Purgatory is located in the Mellon Bank Center, in the city's downtown, in a section devoted to something called retail lockbox. In a chilly room, done in unrelieved gray, temps sit, and look at checks and look at forms, then they look at checks, then they look at forms. I know because I worked there once. Fortunately not for long. I know it was purgatory because I got out. |

Subject: RE: BS: purgatory were is it From: John O'L Date: 23 Apr 05 - 09:54 AM In Daylia' picture and in Bill D's there is someone who looks kinda saintly standing there overseeing the misery. Who do you reckon he might be? |

Subject: RE: BS: purgatory were is it From: GUEST,John O'Lennaine Date: 23 Apr 05 - 10:07 AM In both pictures the holier-than-thou guy seems to have an offsider with a funny hat on. Who might he be too? |
|
Subject: RE: BS: purgatory were is it From: Amos Date: 23 Apr 05 - 11:18 AM The holier than thou guy is the boss, a mid-level manager who wants to get out of there soon and into something where he can really show his tuff to senior management. The guy with the funny hat is his son-in-law, a nepotistic hire with less brains than a stagbeetle. A |

Subject: RE: BS: purgatory were is it From: *daylia* Date: 23 Apr 05 - 11:19 AM Well the one with the funny hat could be Martin Gibson. And the other ... hmmm .... Amos? |

Subject: RE: BS: purgatory were is it From: *daylia* Date: 23 Apr 05 - 11:24 AM Ha! I was going to say the other could be Joe Offer, but changed my mind at the last second... gotta *love* it! 8~) |

Subject: RE: BS: purgatory were is it From: jpk Date: 23 Apr 05 - 03:36 PM nah, daylia. it cannot be martin gibson,mg is too full of his self(rightious b.s.) to ever be found someplace lowdown like this |

Subject: RE: BS: purgatory were is it From: Haruo Date: 23 Apr 05 - 03:52 PM Maybe, but mg is mary garvey, not martin gibson... I think Purgatory is probably about halfway from Kalamazoo to Ypsilanti. Haruo |
