From Monday 30th May till Thursday 2nd June I'll be skippering a yacht in the Solent. Less than £100 each. No experience needed. Let me know soonest. Steve |

Subject: RE: BS: Sailing anyone? From: MaineDog Date: 23 Mar 06 - 05:30 PM Yes, I know the Grace Bailey! We went on a cruise in 2002, with a group of Scottish Country Dancers. We were out for a week. She is a very shallow boat with very little room below decks, and the only place we could find to dance was sideways, just aft of the main mast. We put the head of the set at the center, by our battery powered boom box. This gave new meaning to the phrase "once and to the bottom"-- MD |

Subject: RE: BS: Sailing anyone? From: Schantieman Date: 28 Mar 06 - 05:00 PM Jim James & Pam Taylor were on board for a few summers, several years ago I think. Deckhand and Cook. No one wants to brave the briny deep in April then? Steve |

Subject: RE: BS: Sailing anyone? From: Grab Date: 28 Mar 06 - 05:37 PM I wouldn't mind, but I doubt I'd get sea leave (like shore leave except the other way round). Oh, the perils of being married to a woman who gets seasick in a bathtub, when your folks have had you sailing about since you could walk... Graham. |
