Subject: RE: BS: GWB rams policeman with bike. From: Ebbie Date: 07 Jul 05 - 04:22 PM People who object to the humo(u)r of this incident being recognized is relating too well to the bush. Are you reacting to the humiliation, the fear of being laughed at in your own life, the viseral recoil at the appearance of blood, or a memory from the distant past that has never gone away? Or are you under the impression that the mighty don't fall? Are you afraid that someone will (horrors!) tell the president that we laughed at him? LOL Trust me- this president has gone through so many incidents of this kind of blunder that he will scarcely remember it next week. He thinks it is routine. Remember the pretzel? He thinks everybody has choked on one so severely that they too passed out. |
Subject: RE: BS: GWB rams policeman with bike. From: Donuel Date: 07 Jul 05 - 05:18 PM Liz, sorry bout the accident but good for you. Today as Blair delivered his talk about the bombings with Chirac on the left and Bush on the right I noticed that Chirac kept his gaze steady and off to the side for the speech...but Bush snickered and kept looking into the camera. I think I have a heightened visual sense and I swear I see the fascial gesticulations of the dictator Mussolini when I look at Bush on the occaisions when he does his distinctive frowning snicker. |
Subject: RE: BS: GWB rams policeman with bike. From: Mr Red Date: 07 Jul 05 - 06:07 PM If Bush laughs about it he is tellin' ya it's funny y'all. the real target would have involved only 8 deaths but was too heavily protected. There's yer link between Bush and London bombings, though where a bicycle gets into the connection beats me. Must be a circular arguement. So who's had a hunerusechtomy then? LTS - was that a narrow squeek or what? |
Subject: RE: BS: GWB rams policeman with bike. From: Liz the Squeak Date: 07 Jul 05 - 06:10 PM He's not really snickering... he's trying to read the autocue but without the pointing stick it's too hard for him.... He's the reason most traffic signs don't have words. LTS |

Subject: RE: BS: GWB rams policeman with bike. From: GUEST Date: 08 Jul 05 - 03:28 AM Bush looks permanently as if he's about to sneeze and trying to hold it back. I reckon the snickering is when the sneeze almost gets out. |
Subject: RE: BS: GWB rams policeman with bike. From: GUEST,Vic at work Date: 09 Jul 05 - 03:43 AM I think we have missed something here. GWB has a talent - he can ride a bike, but more importantly it proves he has a sense of balance??????????????????? Worrying or what! (Tiptoes quietly away to await responses from others who prefer the 'other trouser leg of logic') Vic |
Subject: RE: BS: GWB rams policeman with bike. From: dianavan Date: 09 Jul 05 - 04:07 AM Yes, he has a sense of balance and adequate gross motor skills. I wonder how his fine motor skills check out ...or his hand-eye co-ordination? |
Subject: RE: BS: GWB rams policeman with bike. From: Tam the man Date: 09 Jul 05 - 07:28 AM I think so too, the poicman will sent to cuba because he's a terrorist. |
Subject: RE: BS: GWB rams policeman with bike. From: Mr Red Date: 10 Jul 05 - 06:07 AM and his bike is a cuban missile? Cuban missile crisis Part II..... |
Subject: RE: BS: GWB rams policeman with bike. From: John MacKenzie Date: 10 Jul 05 - 07:26 AM I've just realised why this happened, the policeman was confused by the bike that's what. You see your actual modern day, covered in accessories policeman, doesn't know what a bike is, as they spend most of their time on their fat arses in patrol cars, it's a wonder their legs still work! Giok |

Subject: RE: BS: GWB rams policeman with bike. From: Liz the Squeak Date: 11 Jul 05 - 04:23 AM Actually Giok, we have cycle cops in London.... they have special police issue cycling helmets and lycra shorts.. otherwise, the equipment is fairly standard. It's really weird seeing a guy in dark blue lycra cycling shorts and stab jacket..... LTS |

Subject: RE: BS: GWB rams policeman with bike. From: Liz the Squeak Date: 11 Jul 05 - 10:33 AM Remember the picture of him with square thing in the middle of his back? I reckon that's a remote control box and he's being worked by someone else - suggestions for candidates? LTS |
