Now here's a weird one ..(understatement perhaps?)
Makes the Mind boggle actually and also makes that commercial that asks "what could be lurking in your toilet?" just a bit too real.
I thought when I first heard this it was an urban myth.
Turns out to be true and the outhouse in question was the Womens one!!! yuk!

sadly, there in NOTHING so wierd or unbelievable that someone, somehwere has not tried it. I actually read of a similar case over 20 years ago...again, in some beach facility where he gained access to a holding tank under a beachfront privy. (one wonders how he intended to get HOME if he hadn't been caught.)

Well, I was thinking of posting this story but discretion got the better of me. After all the gentleman in question is from my home state of Maine, even if he was "moonlighting" in our neighboring state of New Hamster. I should have known that some other Mudcatter would dredge up this story and have the questionable taste to post it.

Well actually Charlie it was me that posted this Story and I live in Maine myself passed Greenville, near Moosehead Lake.
I saw no reason NOT to bring attention to the subject of this Thread, no matter how nasty it may be.
It does however serve as caution to Women of what kind of sick people are out there, not just in Maine I might add.
I didn't dredge the story up at all. I was told about it by a co worker the Center I work at that offers to help to Victims of Sexual Abuse.
I do find small comfort in the fact that the 14 year old victim here suffered no physical abuse Thankfully. I hope that any other Women that used this "outhouse" on the day in question come forward. My opening post does not contain any humor in it whatsoever. Mearly disgust and shock!!

As for the 14 tear old Girl that discovered this Man....well I am glad she did so before anything else could have occured. I, as a Woman, Thank her for her quick thinking in having this person arrested.
I am sure that the Victim will be glad to receive and apology from all other Mainers though.

It's only amusing in the most bizarre sense of the word, and I'm pleased to think this dumb pervert will most likely be convicted of at least gross indecency.

However, it's easy to confuse the reality of this incident with amusing dities that some of us used to sing in college such as "Seven Old Maids Locked in the Lavartory" or a song I composed a while back entiled "Justice en Lieu" about a district judge in Maine who spent a weekend trapped in his private bathroom at the courthouse when the pushbutton lock jammed.

Now, I ain't saying that this guy didn't do wrong. He did, and he should be out on a lot more bail than $250, if out at all. I'll be interested in knowing if he shows up for court.

Here in Idaho we're still spooked by the happenings up in Couer d'Alene -- a family murdered, a kid kidnapped and murdered and his sister taken and sexually abused by a sexual offender from the Dakotas (no, I'm gonna call it as I see it -- by a pervert).

This guy in Maine has big problems, the least of which is hygienic. I would hate to be in his place in prison.

I hope that the young lady also gets whatever help she might need.

Having spent more time than I care to admit tending to USFS and NPS pit toilets back in my college days, I can barely imagine how that guy got down into the vault, and how he expected to get out again. Surprising as it may seem, there are people who pay to lie under glass tables and watch while someone (a prostitute usually) sits on top and defecates. Sick, imo and in need of treatment of some kind.

That this fellow was doing this, in a public "loo" is scary for women, no matter whether he "saw" anything or not. It could have escalated with several kinds of actions from him. Thankfully it did not and he was caught. Letting him go on $250 is a joke. I hope when he goes to court, it is treated more seriously and recognised for the sexual predator/violation it is.

There is something to be said for the good old fashioned outhouse with no tank, like the one my grandparents had years ago. They're usually so tiny that if anyone was going to be sitting up under that seat, you'd see the rest of them sticking out from behind--from 20 paces or more. The pervert would also be in the middle of flies, ants marching & spiders in addition to the poop & grandkids running around all over the place. The dirty bum wouldn't have a chance.
