Just thought I'd pass on the great mnemonic I've gotten from folks like Thom Hartmann and Al Franken, for contacting US Senators and Representatives easily.   Just dial 1-800 SOB-U SOB (sound it out), and then ask for your congress person by name or by state (or district, in the case of House representatives).

It makes so much sense, it's a snap to remember! :-D

Just for the record, I do have one good thing to say about a member of Congress...

One of the congressmen from Maryland was instrumental in helping us get our (JtS') permanent resident status resolved. I never thought I would have anything good to say about a politician, but we are very grateful, and I do like to give credit where credit is due.

It is, well, easy to remember, isn't it?

Yeah, mack, it does seem so appropriate (the good deeds of some of our Congressmen and Congresswomen notwithstanding) that it's hard to imagine the # just yielded that mnemonic by accident, isn't it?

BTW, if you dial 1-877 instead of 1-800, you get the US Marine Recruiting office!
