I am doing a study on what effects several different variables have on individual earnings. To be part of this study, please pm or email me the info needed. All input is annonymous on your part and the data will remain confidential. If you want to make sure you can even make up a new Yahoo email address and send the info through that.

Results will be anaylized statistically, and I will provide the final paper to those who wish to see it.

I need your answers to the following. Please be honest:

-Last year's income (before taxes)
-Gender
-Age
-Height
-Weight
-Race
-Occupation
-Industry you are working in
-Years of education (include # of years you have been in school)
-Years working (experience)
-No. of Alcoholic Beverages consumed weekly
-No. of day absences from job during last year

Email your data to [e-mail] .
Include your email address if you wish to receive the results. You may also include a mailing address for a hardcopy of the paper. This will be a major paper (20+ pages) and the study will include 500+ people. Everyone's input and help is greatly appreciated!

I'll save you the time.

Apart from Martin Gibson, we all admit to being fat losers. We eat the wrong stuff. take days off to go to folk music events. And this hampered our career development. But some of us can afford a Martin guitar.

most of us do some sort of job if we're not retired - but we all wanted to be Bob Dylan or something similar and it didn't work out.

Most of us enjoy a drink - those who are medicaly up to it, but some of us have to give it up. It's bad for you, you know.

We are of diverse sexual and racial orientations, and some of us are wating for reassignment - quite a lot would like to be Irish.

Our years of education have extended to the present. we are all here seeking enlightenment on various subjects.

Denis, where else are you doing your surveys? This is primarily a folk music forum, and your inquiry seems more like a solicitation -- or an attempt to gather personal information for commercial reasons -- than an attempt to participate.

It all pertains to me, but with the following 2 exceptions:

1. I would rather be Rumanian than Irish... this will allow be to have a cultural excuse for wearing socks with my sandals.

2. I would rather have (and do currently own one) a Taylor guitar than a Martin.

The one thing you can say without question about all of us is that we have no great desire to broadcast the sort of information you ask (PM's, Yahoo etc. also does not cut it).
