I don't know if there are a lot of Swedes out there, but has anyone heard of this song? I'd be interested in lyrics, music, and/or translation.

I heard it on the album 'Igår, Idag, Imorgon' by Jan Hammarlund & Turid & Lena Ekman. Here's a link to the album info:

I can ask on a scandinavian music list i am on..
there would more likely be an answer there...
i will post it here if i find any thing..
meanwhile i can sort of find the meaning of
each individual word, but not of the whole phrase.

Döden=death, Han=man or he, Är=is, are,

Jägare=hunter, Snäll=good,nice, kind

In older Swedish "snäll" can also mean "clever" or "swift", compare with German "schnell". So, "Death he is a swift hunter" would be my translation.
