I will just briefly tell you that it involved me having a bit of bad time of it this last couple of weeks and, yesterday, getting a huge parcel out of which came a great big, sunny yellow,helium filled balloon... and a shower of glitter.

No-one can be uncheered with a balloon......and a daughter.... and friends.

People who deserve the best may not always get the best. Sometimes though there are the bright and shining moments that come through which make up for a lot. I think you just had one and it makes me feel good just knowing it. Lots of love to you both.......

When my daughter was 3 1/2 her brother was born, and he was hospitalized for two weeks (pneumothorax due to premature lungs. He's fine now). On our first night at home while he was in the hospital, she trotted into our bedroom and gave each of us one of her stuffed toys to sleep with "because you couldn't bring the baby home."

Daughters are indeed wonderful things! (Mine just graduated from high school last Wednesday)
