Heard it once in the movies and maybe more than once in real life:

"You're not very bright, are you? I like that in a man."

Snakes. Why does it have to be snakes?
I have a feeling this is one of the 'Indian Jones' films - Raiders of the Lost Ark perhaps?

No movement on the two I left earlier - Okay, additional clues

Easy 5: "...Withdraw your horse from about your ears and take your head out of his arse, Sir! ..."

additional line

"...There My Lord, There are your enemy, There are your guns..."

Easy 6: "...Sweat 'em down, Staff..."

additional clues:

"...Then there's the Commandant. The Commandant signs a piece of paper. He'd sign his own death warrant if I placed it in front of him... "

and

"...New scum and old scum are a bad mix..."

Easy 7: "...Oh I do like to see a lot of soldiers,
Soldiers are what I like to see,
And if they're the type that have a horse
Well I like them more of course
Because I do love the cavalry
..."

(Okay, the last one is sung to himself by a character as he prepares.)

Ah, SO, Old Guy!!

Of Mice and Men.

Great movie. I first saw it as a play with a good friend of mine (BIG guy!) playing Lenny. Shortly thereafter, on late night television, I saw the movie, with Burgess Meredith as George and Lon Chaney Jr. as Lenny. Steinbeck.

Right. The Joads in Grapes of wrath.

Guys like us, they got no family.
They ain't got nobody who gives a hoot in hell about 'em.
But not us, George. That's it, George. But not us.
Tell about us now.
- Not us. - Because...
- Cos I got you. - And I got you, George.
That's what gives a hoot in hell about us.
George, but tell now how it's gonna be.
We're gonna get a little place.
OK. Yeah. We're gonna get a little place and we're gonna...
- We're gonna... - ..have...
We're gonna have a cow, and some pigs, and we're gonna have maybe a chicken.
- Down in the flat, we'lI have a... - Field of alfalfa for the rabbits.
- For the rabbits... - And I get to tend the rabbits.

BANG!

I agree with Grab, it sounds like the Steinbeck/Fonda Grapes of Wrath in that line
They can't wipe us out. They can't lick us.
We'll go on forever, Pa, cos we're the people.

Yup Easy rider.

They can't wipe us out. They can't lick us.
We'll go on forever, Pa, cos we're the people.

There ain't nobody gonna push me of my land! My grandpa took up this land 70 years ago, my pa was born here, we were all born on it. And some of of us was killed on it! ...and some of us died on it. That's what make it our'n, bein' born on it,...and workin' on it,...and and dying' on it! And not no piece of paper with the writin' on it!

I smell spare ribs. Somebody's been eatin' spare ribs. How come I ain't got none?
