Oh, no, Elmer!:-) My apologies for using that word. She is very fine, healthwise and otherwise, just going through some major life upheavels(sp?), long needed and wanted, but still stressful and would appreciate good energy and thoughts sent her way. What she is going through takes a lot of positive energy just to make sure it all happens in as easy and positive way as possible and that is where Mudcat "mojo" comes in. It comforts her, as it has many others, myself included, to know Mudcatters are thinking of her, etc. Hope that helps.

Now, without knowing exactly what it is that Alba is going through, I can think of some times that have been like that for me. No matter how positive they are, it is really hard to go through them. I've had to take my children and run from an abusive marriage, I've had other relationship breakups that have been really hard to go through with, and several major relocations. When I had to get out of a bad sharing situation with flatmates a few years ago, I called on Mudcatters for support and ideas, and it was a wonderful comfort and source of strength to know that they were thinking of me.

Alba, it will be hard, and you will probably find yourself just wishing that it was all over, but you will find strengths that you never knew you had, and you will be all the stronger for it when you have come out the other side. I know, cos I've been there. So I'm thinking of you, and sending you energy from warm and sunny Oz. We're all pulling for you!

Aren't they those little sweeties (candy) that tasted of licquorice and made your mouth go black? I used to like them.... could get 2 for a penny (and this is after pennies became farthing sized) and they'd last you all afternoon.... had to suck them for hours if you wanted your teeth to turn grey as well... sort of made your mouth furry....

Anyway... if I can find some, I'll send some over.

And if there's any spare, could Mudcatters please think of Cas, used to be here ages ago, but life got in the way.. She's having a crap time of it at the moment, forcibly separated from her family and having severe difficulties with a house move.

First off Katlaughing had read your good thoughts and wishes to me and I am so so grateful to you ALL.
Thank you so much Kat for starting this Thread but I trust that like a wheel all the goodness given here will come around and return itself to those who are supporting me. That is my wish.

Things for me are, how can I put it, difficult.
I am doing several things and making big changes that I feel I need to do, something we have all had to do at various points in our Life.
In order for all to resolve itself well, resulting in the higher good of those concerned I am using an enormous amount of energy which leaves me pretty burned out.
Healthwise I am coping.
The way I see it is...The Mudcat Mojo works and is working.
I look forward to coming back when all is done and dusted and catching up with all of you dear, kind and inspiring People.

I think of all the challenges Mudcatters have faced on this Forum over the Years and because of the strength and courage shown by those facing these Life forces and the Friends who have supported them I draw my strength and learn.

So...to wrap this mini novel up:)

I have relocated to a bigger House and sad as it was to leave the backwoods of beautiful Maine. I am enjoying my new place a bit more South and the adventures that come with living in a new area!
