However, and I know this sounds "picky", I can only use the version of this that was included as a track on an Annette Funicello Album about 1962, I think. It's the one that ends, "M-I-C---K-E-Y----M-O-U-S-E----Forever Let us hold our banners highhhhh" I hope this is good enough to be as specific as I need for this. If anyone might somehow have this old viny album in their collection, and would be willing to either transfer that track to a CD, or just sell me the album that song is on, please let me know. (I'm not sure if that's the way his name was spelled) who was with WGBH. He'd sing Pick a Bale of Cotton with his guitar and glasses. I loved his show when I was 4 and 5; picked up a record of his of Revolutionary Songs in the 70s. I also remember the Gentle Giant and fell in love with Early One Morning... just played on the harp while the "giant" pulled out a tiny dollhouse chair and invited tykes like me to sit down. I don't remember anything about the show... but I LOVED that song. |
