I think it is fair to say that Reid has been a firewall for Obama. He blocks bills sent up from the House and kills any chance for them being even brought up for debate...that being said, the Republicans aren't much better.
One bill that Reid did NOT suppress, was the budget, that included a waiver, protecting Monsanto from being liable for any damages from GMO's......speaking of pork laden riders....which Bill D seemed to blame only the Republicans...even though that bill was NOT submitted by the GOP..but by Democrats.
Bottom line, as I've posted so many times that my keys are getting worn out from repeating it...the corruption is on BOTH sides!..and neither of the two main parties are representing the PEOPLE, as much as they cater to their 'special interests' banking and corporate buddies.
I have NO party affiliation...so I don't give a rat's ass about pointing fingers across the aisle..because for me, there is NO aisle...just a lot of corruption for special interests, with 'cover stories', to pretend that they're really 'working for us'....

'Right-wing and left-wing are on the same bird'..and 'I'm NOT with the party...I'm with the band!'

..and BTW, my track record on being correct, and calling it, BEFORE it even happens, should be quite evident by now!

But the 'so-called wannabes' only seem to be able to resort to name-calling....especially when they are at wits end to substantiate their facade of political nonsense!!

Just take a look around!

GfS

P.S...and as far as the 'elections' go... the GOP didn't even have a platform....other than a 'repudiation' of the Obama Administration....I guess they were getting impatient to be the next pigs at the trough!
