I dunno about unwittingly perverting the course of song lyrics... but I can never hear a particular song without "adapting" it to my own perverse view of lifely..
Namely.."Something in the way she moves... makes me think she's got diarrhoea"...

Besides the ones in the Ian Tyson thread are any lines that you've sung wrong for years and when you got the right words ya' went DUH!!!!!!!!! My example from Roddy MCcorley sang "skull marked Ernest Bann" S/b "Stalwart, ernest band" ...Needed to hear The Clancys Mike Bennett
