Seems that Fox News has pulled off it's latest ACORN hatchet job on a women who works for the Department of Agriculture in assistin' farmers in gettin' federally backed loans... Yep, Shirley Sherrod, who has worked in that capacity since the early 80's has been torpedoes by Fox and in turn, without any review of the facts, by the Obama administartion... This women in a speech to the NAACP spoke about an incident that occured back in 1986 where she was to assist a "white farmer" in getting a loan... She had previously worked with black farmers and thought that she would put this white farmer thru the ringer... Problem is that her better side thought that that wasn't what she was to do and so she helped this white farmer, Roger Spooner, save his farm... The entire speech was so taken out of context that she was fired yesterday... Now the truth comes out... Fox edited the speech to make it sound as if Ms. Sherrod was talkin' about recnt events when in reality these things occured some 3 decades ago... Fox also left out "the rest of the story" whioch was rewally about how this couragous women, a black women who had grown up in the deep South, has overcome her prejudices... That was the real story... Not Fox so-called newsw lies and manipulations... Shame on Fox but... ...shame on the Obama administrations fallin' for Fox's lies... This career woman need to be reinstated and Obama need to tell Fox so-called news to... ...fuck the fuck off!!! B~ |

Glen Beck has filled the shoes of a contemporary Joseph McCarthy and will in time become an evangelist who will speak for God in the most loathsome paranoid shades of fear by turning truth around 180 degrees. The Glen Beck stories of Black Panthers seeking to kill white cracker babies is another example of the hateful race baiting happening today on FOX. If I were to illustrate the Beck claim I would draw a child, feeding baby crackers to the Panther at the Zoo, this image would be more factual than Glen Beck's rage over "reverse racism". (Reverse racism is something I do not believe in since the word racism encompasses the entire idiocy of hate all by itself) Down on the farm we had a saying for victims of hateful attacks. "Even a dog knows when it gets kicked on purpose" We are all being stepped on by the trans national syndicated propoganda machine called Fox and its minions like Glen, Kelly, Michelle and Rush. The key to all successful propoganda is emotion. The average human will not notice two people speaking politely to one another, but inject a couple who are screaming or crying and every fiber of your being alerts all of your attention to the emotional disturbance in order to weigh the possibility of your own safety being jeopardized by the belligerant angry arguing couple, even if they are only actors with little talent. Hitler's slow rise to emotional intensity during his rallies is the obvious model for this phenomenon. There is a defense against this kind of mind control. There is still the remote possibility that the administration will fight this propoganda fire with truthful fire. But again after writing here for 10 years, I have repeated myself. |

When Gibbs apologized on behalf of the administration, she finally smiled. |

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs called the dismissal of Shirley Sherrod an injustice and a mistake and said he was apologizing for the "entire administration." He said Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack was trying to reach her to extend an apology. "I accept the apology," Sherrod said on CNN after watching Gibbs talk to reporters at a televised briefing. But she said the apology took too long and she wasn't sure if she wanted her job back. "I just don't know at this point, I don't know," she said, adding that she would be surprised if Vilsack offered her the job. Gibbs said Obama had been briefed as the situation developed. "He talked about the fact that a disservice had been done, an injustice had happened and, because the facts had changed, a review of the decision based on those facts should be taken," Gibbs said. Sherrod has said she submitted her resignation under pressure from the White House. The Agriculture Department says it was Vilsack's decision alone. Sherrod was asked by department officials to resign on Monday after conservative bloggers posted a video of her saying she didn't initially give a white farmer as much help as she could have 24 years ago, when she was working for a farmers' aid group. Sherrod says she used the story in her speech to the NAACP to promote racial reconciliation and that the edited video distorted her remarks. After a video of her full speech was posted online by the NAACP, the White House called the Agriculture Department about the case Tuesday night and it was agreed that her ouster should be reviewed. Gibbs said people in the administration and outside of it acted without all the facts. "We now have a more complete set of facts," he said. The White House is facing strong criticism over the case, which marks a stumble for both the Obama administration and the NAACP.
