I know the lady started a birthday thread for herself and others, but I really think that she deserves one all to herself on this auspicious occasion.

Mary has been a real support to me since I moved to Maine and is unfailingly kind and generous to just about everyone she comes into contact with. I'm sure that there are an awful lot of Mudcatters out there who can attest to her acts of kindness, mostly done very quietly.

Many, many happy returns you old bag - live long, die very happy with chocolate in one hand and champagne in the other.

Oh My Goodness! I came home from work on Friday to a note from a local florist about flowers. Had to have them deliverewd to Jacqui's on Saturday because I was off at the museum.
Carols and Andrew - they are beautiful! What a wonderful surprise! All yellows, golds and reds for fall (a little like Luigi).
The bouquet is in my bedroom where I can enjoy it without fear of feline intervention.
