Subject: RE: Open Mike's radio show now streaming From: open mike Date: 22 Jun 13 - 11:57 AM June show will air today 1 - 3 pacific time....streaming at www.krov.fm today's theme is Horses in support of a movement to stop horse slaughter, and also to stoop wild horse round ups. Also some Swedish music in celebration of Mid Sommar and Summer solstice... if you google KROV you may come across a station in Austin or SanAntonio TX that is using those letters. This is a mistake that the FCC made, as those call letters were designated to be for our station in Oroville, Calif. yet that station is allowed to use them, too. Very confusing, and quite a mix up by the F.C.C. anyway look for Oroville and the Crossroads show..http://krov.fm I am your Radio Common 'Tater......will post the playlist after the show.... |

Subject: RE: Open Mike's radio show now streaming From: open mike Date: 09 Jul 10 - 08:40 PM I will be on the radio tomorrow...July 10...for 2 hours in the afternoon. 2 - 4 p.m. will play some songs about fire, among other things, as it was 2 years ago when the lightning fires consumed 200 houses (including mine) and over 50,000 acres of forest and woodlands . We live in the area designated by fire terminlogy as I-Zone (Urban/ Wildland Interface) now also called W.U.I. Wildland Urban Interface. The radio station is in a town nearly an hour from here. There was some thunder and lightning last night, and I am sure many of those who lost their homes and their community were having flashbacks of 2 years ago. |
Subject: RE: Open Mike's radio show now streaming From: Deckman Date: 26 Jun 10 - 07:17 PM Laurel ... I REALLY enjoyed your show today, great choices of music. I was especially moved by Claudia Nygaards "He's Going Home Again." I'm not sure if that's the correct title, but I sure want to learn it. Keep up the good work and I'll listen and watch you next time! Bob(deckman)Nelson |
