Ah yes, t'was a great day starting with a trip to the Docs to get Karen a poison ivy shot. She looks as if I beat the hell out of her but the good ol' shot started working pretty quick and by nightfall she could see out of her right eye again!

The plus side of this is that she is off work til Monday night.......a great birthday present as far as I'm concerned. But we also bought a new grill awhile back (charcoal) and are grilling like crazy. Karen really loves to grill and I love the prep work.......once again we are backwards of most couples...............Had some fantastic ribs last night with a cheesecake for dessert.

Thanks once again to all of you who chimed in again this year but thanks even more for all the good thoughts that have come my way this past year and indeed ALL the many years we have spent here at the 'Cat. Whether I'm on a little as of lately or a lot, the importance of this place in my life remains the same and the friendship of so many of you continues to be one of those things so amazing that words can't begin to describe it.
