Katheryn Tickell Vocals?

As great as a musician that Kathryn Ticknell is, she is not that well known in USA. I don't know if she has toured much here or not.
I am only familiar with a few of her albums and I was curious if she sings on any albums? Or what songs are vocals (if any?)
I am in Arizona and have asked several people here who are into all kinds of folk, including British, Irish, Scottish, etc but no one is familiar with her work although a few have heard of her.

Hi, Donna - You might have better luck finding the recordings of Kathryn Tickell if you spelled her name right. I think she is well-known and respected, but within a very limited circle in the US. She's a commercial folk act, too expensive for house concerts and not well-known enough for larger venues. That's a difficult position to be in. I don't know that she's recorded any vocals, and that's another problem.

I do not know if she sings, but is certainly a brilliant Northumberland piper and fiddler held in high esteem by all in UK

Yep worth seeing and hearing, good at talking and workshops hope you can and should afford to see her in the USA!!

The debut album from Kathryn's new touring ensemble 'The Side' featuring Louisa Tuck – cello, Ruth Wall – harps, Amy Thatcher – accordion and of course Kathryn – Northumbrian pipes & fiddle.

And there's a song on there too...!

A varied album featuring pieces by classical composers Henry Purcell and Percy Grainger as well as traditional and self-penned tunes. A blissful blend of instruments and genres.

Listen out for the guest appearances by leader of the Royal Northern Sinfonia, violinist Bradley Creswick and also from Sting's long-time associate, guitarist Dominic Miller, as well as some nice touches from another of Louisa's Royal Northern Sinfonia colleagues – percussionist Marney O'Sullivan.
