Subject: John Copper solo in Brighton, UK

John Copper will be making a very rare solo appearance at Brighton Acoustic Session on March 6th.
His family have been carriers of traditional music for seven generations or more and are perhaps the greatest musical dynasty in the English-speaking world.
While acknowledging the influence of the Seeger and Carter / Cash families in the American tradition the sheer longevity and scope of the Copper Family repertoire has few equals.
John will be appearing a few short miles from Rottingdean on England's south coast, where the earliest entry of the family name in parish records was in 1593.
