Subject: RE: BS: Your favorite game - card or otherwise? From: GUEST,Sooz (at work) Date: 15 Jul 04 - 07:51 AM The Contraception Game is good - its a cross between TP and Monopoly with questions and activities as the name suggests. A bright blue condom demonstrator resides in a black box at the centre of the board.Great fun with a group of fourteen year olds and their parents! When I'm at home though, I prefer Scrabble or Rummikub. |

Subject: RE: BS: Your favorite game - card or otherwise? From: GUEST,Larry K Date: 15 Jul 04 - 11:14 AM My wife is hooked on Mah Jong. Aside from playing twice a week, every winter my wife and 4-5 other ladies go on a cruise in the Carribean/Mexico to play Mah Jong. One year they had shirts made up: We eat, we shop, we play mah jong, we sleep, we eat, we play mah jong, we shop, we play mah jong. Probably a very accurate assesment. |
Subject: RE: BS: Your favorite game - card or otherwise? From: Blackcatter Date: 15 Jul 04 - 11:16 AM Hey there - I love voting for Millard Fillmore --------------- They've changed the voting! We can no longer vote for presidents who's dolls the company already makes. They haven't changed the results to George Washington is effectively on top of Reagan forever. I wish I could have gotten Lincoln over Nixon though. Keep voting for Fillmore though. It's just gotten a bit easier sicne Clinton, Reagan and Washington cannot be added to. |
Subject: RE: BS: Your favorite game - card or otherwise? From: GUEST Date: 16 Jul 04 - 04:35 AM My favourite card game is Stress. Its played with 2 players and without explaining the rules fully, it involves no turn taking, just getting rid of your cards as quickly as possible, and then when one player has no cards left, both players slam their hand down on the smallest pile (usually involves another hand slamming down on top of yours...). I stopped playing years ago when nobody would play against me anymore. i have no idea why. |
Subject: RE: BS: Your favorite game - card or otherwise? From: Bert Date: 16 Jul 04 - 09:36 AM For board games it has to be Scrabble and Pictionary. I tried chess for a while but it requires more thought than I am really prepared to give to a game. I did get into war games one time but you need the right teams and enough time for that. For Computer games it's Jezz Ball but I don't play it much because I always seem to be too tired when I sit down at the computer. And you have to be alert to rack up a big score. For Bar games it's darts (or is that a sport?) but I don't play often enough to be much good. For outdoor games it's got to be a treasure hunt. |
