Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: Oaklet Date: 25 Sep 04 - 10:18 AM I got mine! It is brilliant. I have watched little else for weeks. I don't remember the Humber being quite so sunny and to be honest, I wouldn't have casted ol' big-nuts Dave Hasseloff and Pammy Anderson as Skip and Fibulamatic. But it gives me a great deal of pleasure and make no mistake. BTW, What is all that shit about about the semi-naked lifeguarding stuff, Kate-who-is-Kate? |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: MudGuard Date: 25 Sep 04 - 03:48 PM Semi-naked? Fibs intends to dance around me completely nekkid at the next Euro-Gathering! |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: Susanne (skw) Date: 25 Sep 04 - 07:35 PM Who's bold, Andy? She or you? |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: MudGuard Date: 26 Sep 04 - 03:49 AM I am bold, and Fibs will be nekkid ;-) |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: Wilfried Schaum Date: 27 Sep 04 - 02:57 AM Now stop this horsing around about "The Naked And The Bold" (hey, sounds like a good film title for the next gathering, Kate-who-is-Kate, doesn't it?) and tell me: When will I get my DVD-version? And Mudguard, please, stop your lecherous comments (if quite understandable) and tell me what's my share and where to pay it. Oaklet - congratulations, and I'm envious. Some weeks ago we had a big veteran-Mini-show near my home, and I was heavily reminded of you, your car, and these fine days on the banks of sweet Humber. |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: MudGuard Date: 27 Sep 04 - 03:08 AM Wilfried, as Kate has not given me details about price, I can't tell you how much your share is. |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: GUEST,Fibula not nekkid in France Date: 27 Sep 04 - 05:40 AM Hello fellow film stars, I am soaking up the sunshine in St.Raphael, but I am decidedly not nekkid and wish to stop such scurrilous speculation forthwith! Evidently you are thinking of the "adult" version of the Mudcat movie, available at 57 pounds and tentatively entitled "Show us yer whelks", but likely to change to "Greasy and Noisy". I await my presentable version with enthusiasm and excitement. love k xx |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: Eric the Viking Date: 27 Sep 04 - 12:24 PM And there, I thought you woz at Cap D'age (Famous for nudity, whelks and the occasional oyster!) |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: mooman Date: 27 Sep 04 - 01:49 PM So not pre-Raphaelite then Kate? (:>( Peace moo |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: Susanne (skw) Date: 28 Sep 04 - 08:30 PM Less pre-Raphaelite than precocious perhaps? :-) Enjoy the sun while you can, Kate! I suppose the adult version will come out in a limited edition for over fifties like me, in order not to stir up Andy's emotions (or should that read hormones?) too much ... Anyway, I'd be very interested in getting it as I must have missed all the adult May Day goings-on. Greg's household was perfectly respectable throughout! (Sigh!) There's no hurry about my silver disc, BTW, I'll have to buy a DVD player first! |

Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: MudGuard Date: 16 Dec 04 - 07:26 AM Whom are you referring to? The only great person I connect with "As you like it" is William Shakespeare - but he is no namesake of yours. I don't know of any "Wilfried the Great". The only thing I can imagine is that you mean the "Großer Schaumschläger" ;-) But this leads again to Shakespeare - "Viel Schaum um nichts" - "Much ado about nothing" ;-) |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: Wilfried Schaum Date: 16 Dec 04 - 09:22 AM Wilfried and William are both shortened "Bill", aren't they? |

Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: Kate Date: 01 Feb 05 - 06:06 PM SHOCK! HORROR! You will not believe this but I have finally got the film done. I know it's been a very long time but believe me its been a bumpy ride!!! Unfortunately one of my colleagues chucked away a couple of the tapes not realising some of the pub session material that I was going to use was on it. Fortunately I have the concert and have edited together nearly forty minutes of that. The world premiere of this epic film will air at the Ireland Gathering in Portaferry. I should be able to get a few DVDs and Videos for the trip and I wondered who is coming from overseas to Portaferry that wants one. It will be easier to give it to you during the weekend instead of organising Paypal accounts and post and Packing if I'll see you anyway. Let me know and I'll try to make sure I have one available to you. For everyone else I'll send copies to you soon after. If you would like one can you just check whether I have you on the list: DVD: Bassic Eric Pistachio Essex Girl Bloke in the Corner Mudguard Wilfried Mooman Letty Fibs VHS: Les from Hull Susanne Dáithí mag Fhionnaín Do you want a DVD or VHS?: Dave Bryant Oaklet Skipjack Wolfgang Yorkshire Yankee Kat Laughing |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: MudGuard Date: 01 Feb 05 - 06:16 PM I'd like to have my DVD delivered in Portaferry. As previously stated, I will pay for Wolfgang/Wilfried/Susanne and get the money back from them so no international money transfers needed. I can also take their DVDs/VHS with me and send them from here (less mailing fees). Could you let me know in advance the price so I know how much pounds I need to get? |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: Kate Date: 01 Feb 05 - 06:25 PM No problems Mudguard. I just need to need to know whether Wolfguard needs DVD or VHS? I'll sell them for £6 and give the profits to Mudcat. |

Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: Susanne (skw) Date: 01 Feb 05 - 07:28 PM Gimme a break! I stated clearly and publicly seven months ago that I'd like a DVD! Defamation, I call it ... (:-))))) Thanks, Kate, for getting it done. You must be real relieved! |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: MudGuard Date: 01 Feb 05 - 07:31 PM Clearly? However, I haven't decided whether I might not prefer a VHS ;-) |

Subject: RE: Mudcat Eurogathering 2004 Film! From: MudGuard Date: 08 Feb 05 - 11:58 AM I saw the film! I really saw it! No, I didn't. I saw two video tapes with a "Eurogathering" label - but I did not see if there was anything recorded on it and if so what. But Kate promised to create DVDs in the next few days and then send 4 of them to me. Once I get them, I will send one to you, Wilfried (unless it is a few days before the Euro-Gathering 05 ;-)), and bring the 2 copies for Susanne and Wolfgang to the Euro-Gathering 05. |
