a couple of years ago I read a book called the 'empire of debt' see the www.dailyreckoning.com - although while it sounded over the top at times.. their prediction was bang on. rake in the money while the sun shines but when it rains expect the taxpayer to cover it. bill bonners suggestion is to buy gold, the irony here is that it is a conservative/republican govt that has actually stepped in and bailed out Aig and Frannie(s) these are the people that have always said govt has no place in business..
