Subject: RE: Christy Moore's new book? From: beachcomber Date: 02 Nov 00 - 03:29 PM hav'nt read it yet. It seems to be laid out as his song book was, according to the lay out of his albums, so that each song is used as a memo to his life and the times during which the song was recorded . I will be getting it in my Xmas stocking, I believe, knowing a bit about Christy Moore's life and having heard him in concert I look forward eagerly to reading more. |

Subject: RE: Christy Moore's new book? From: GUEST,zuppyluvszag Date: 03 Nov 00 - 03:33 PM The book received a great review in some newspaper recently (The Irish Times/Sunday Business Post ??? I can't remember). It's not some 'ghost written' jobbie, it is defenitely Christie's work. It features songs selected by him - not all of which are well known. |
