Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: Liz the Squeak Date: 08 Nov 08 - 03:48 AM HUH!! I started Christmas in September - filming an advert for TV that is sure to be on our screens soon (Aldi supermarkets, I'm the one with a lamp, purple/green trousers, grey top (bloody wardrobe didn't like my purple jumper) and my hair in a plait) which made £385 for my choir and Cancer Research. And I've been making Christmas goodies since August! Mind you, it's Christmas all year round in my dining room.... LTS |
Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: Sandra in Sydney Date: 07 Nov 08 - 07:41 PM ooh, christmas has started, so maybe I can get out my chrissy decorations!! And re-arrange stuff to find a place to put them, even tho they're tiny, they still take up lotsa' space. Or even start making some chrissy goodies for self & others. THANKYOU, Santa sandra |

Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: bfdk Date: 06 Nov 08 - 08:53 AM True, Art, so very true. Meg, you want my Santa to lead me in the dance? A merry dance, even? Great, I'm all for that. Always ready for a good ceilidh, some Border Morris or a bit of Danish folk dancing, and so I am. No ballet, please, I can't stand on my toes, I prefer to stand on someone else's. Megan, Dear, make my day, tell your tales. Or are you still counting peedie bits? ;o)) I'm assembling peedie bits for some poor, innocent (?), unsuspecting... Mwahahahaha.......!! Chocolate is involved, in one way or the other. Bente |

Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: Megan L Date: 06 Nov 08 - 08:26 AM WARNING TO SANTA well at least those looking after three disreputable characters oops sorry mak that four. They are always naughty and regularly have to get skelped from Granny to keep them in order. Leadfingers, Skarpi, Breton Cap and BFDK each deserve at least one lump of coal for all the cheek i have had to suffer this year. However fairs fair their lives have had good times and some bummers so they probably deserve hugs and candy even more. They are as grand a bunch o troublemakers as ever frequented the cat. Bente I hope your santa leads you a right dance oh the tales I could tell Miss Snugglebutt |
Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: Dave Earl Date: 06 Nov 08 - 08:16 AM Hi Santa It is rule that "A day with chocolate in it is better than a day without chocolate" Yes I eat chocolate and my preference is for dark chocolate. Dave ps I support the Fair Trade principals do you? |
Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: Maryrrf Date: 05 Nov 08 - 08:12 PM Well Santa, I drink large quantities of both coffee and tea. I adore both beverages but not decaffeinated varieties. I am a caffeine addict and I feed the addiction regularly. I really do love different varieties of teas. I used to get British friends to send me Lady Grey tea until I was able to get it over here, but there is one tea I bought in Britain that I cant find here and that's Yorkshire tea. I got a big packet last time I was over and it's running low now. Missie is well. She has adapted to her dietary restrictions. She can have things like bits of banana, cheerios, and pieces of toast for treats, and she seems satisfied with that. She's a good old girl! |

Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: GUEST,MXG Date: 05 Nov 08 - 06:11 PM Oooh Lady Mary... did you learn fishing from that Leadfingers you've been seen hanging out with? I have it on very good authority that he's one mean fisher for tankards... Do I live near Whitby? Weeel... Santa lives near the North Pole, I thought you knew that. But I'd go as far as to say that I live closer to Whitby than you do. It's a very pretty town, indeed, so it is. Now, Lady Mary, given the fact that you scorn chocolates, if I were to invite you in for a cuppa, would your preference be for coffee or tea? I hope both you and your Missie are doing fine! MXG |

Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: GUEST,A Double Santa Date: 04 Nov 08 - 08:06 AM Well, there are at least two of you out there wondering where your Santa is. I'm here. I'm really really bisy at the moment though. But I am thinking of you both and will be making suitable purchases soon. The parcels will not come from my country of origin. Not much DOES come from my country of origin. SchizoSanta |
Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: Anne Lister Date: 03 Nov 08 - 05:51 PM Ah, Santa, in terms of earrings I like either kind, but if they dangle they'd better not dangle too low as I don't have a long neck! What I am looking for, perennially it seems, is a good pair of everyday hoop earrings in either silver or gold. I keep losing one, so I have a fine selection of mis-matched ones at the moment and it's always interesting to see if anyone notices that they don't match. Or if they are too polite to mention it. |

Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: My guru always said Date: 03 Nov 08 - 05:42 PM Brill, I gotta Santa *grin* You're probably right about the chocolate covered cats, Santa Dear, though someone did make some for a MudGather I ran last year & they were delicious!! It's been cold here too, but has been warming up over the past few days. Have you had lots of snow??? Are you near a beach then? Here we're not supposed to take rocks from beaches any more as if everyone does it they erode too much, but I usually manage to find an interesting pebble or two. About 20 years ago I found enough small flat pebbles below Tintagel to make my own set of Runes which is still one of my special treasures! |
Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: ClaireBear Date: 03 Nov 08 - 05:14 PM Dear Santa, You are so sweet to be concerned. Be reassured: I am hardly ever offended. And for the record, I am a church-going, ritual-attending Episcopagan (half Anglican Communion, half daughter of the earth). I sing in the choir at church, and I participate in pagan events too. I don't often work with a group to create pagan rituals these days, but only because my beloved priestess/leader is largely inactive herself. While I identify myself as both, you may consider me a Christmas keeper. If you'll look at last year's hints, you'll find the story of how I love the spiritual elements of Christmas and live with someone who prefers not to acknowledge it and won't celebrate it, so I'm ridiculously grateful for any Christmas-related cheer that comes my way. I hope that helps, Santa! Chaars, Claire |
Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: GUEST,Tabster's Confused Claus Date: 03 Nov 08 - 05:13 PM Mrs. Claus says earrings come in two kinds - the ones that dangle and the ones that don't. Do you prefer one or the other? One of each? If the latter, should the dangley one be right or left? |
Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: GUEST,ClaireBear's Still Sorting Santa Date: 03 Nov 08 - 04:44 PM Dear ClaireBear I noticed you have posted on the Samhain thread. Does this mean you celebrate Winter Solstice? Christian Christmas? Both? I know a lot of people who do celebrate both but it would be nice to know. I sometimes get very confused and wouldn't like to offend you in any way. Love and hugs Still Sorting Santa xxx |
Subject: RE: BS: Silly Secret Santee teaser 2008 From: Anne Lister Date: 03 Nov 08 - 03:00 AM Oh, Santa, your elves (or solitary elf?) succeeded in staying very much under cover! Seville was indeed enjoyable but I led a blameless existence, not staying out after 10.30 pm and only slightly over-indulging (largely due to the Australian delegates re-filling my glass). I'm not a difficult person to please in terms of gifts ... earrings or some good chili equally happily received. Or music, of course. |
