Well, I have been out and about, collecting a wee bit here and a wee bit there. [The cat thinks I should include the cat next door, but the neighbors may object. Besides, I reminded her that you said you didn't want another cat.] I need to check with Mrs. Claus, to see if the pressie is adequate for one of your undoubted magnificence - the problem being that I may have to start over if she really likes it! Anyway, plenty of time yet. The mail elves are only just coming out of hibernation.

The main course may be a little late - it's a question of getting the elves in the right place for delivery and that may not be possible for Christmas. Fear not though, you will be Santa'd before the coming of Twelth Night,and hopefuly, it will be worth the wait.

Sorry I didn't have a chance to let you know it had arrived until just now. The morning after it's arrival, our internet connection was temporarily out (came back on just as I had to leave for work), then work intervened, and then there was the wild weeeekend (well, Saturday night and Sunday morning) in South Portland.

It's just what I wanted, by the way!!!

UK DVDs are non-compatable here and I suppose Aussie ones would spin in the opposite direction, like water down a Southern Hemisphere Drain.....

The sands of time were running out and who am I to go against the grains, but I was getting anxious about finally hearing from and about you. More words and hints from you that I can turn around and distort would be apprieciated, as there are not that many writing and taunting days before Christmas.

I have all with the three brothers as DVDs but have all of the movies with the four brothers as VHS and am looking to upgrade some of the the high water Marx of their careers.

I definately believe in Sandy Claws, because I own a cat and maintain a cat box. However, the Marx Brothers always maintained there is no sanity clause.

No snow to speak of yet. No beach very close, either. I do have a good sized river just down the street and it's full of rocks. I don't think anyone would mind if I picked up a small one. As long as they don't know I'm sending it out of the country, it should be OK.

my living room is also Christmas all year round - it's just that I take down the obvious stuff - the tiny trees & other decorations - in July (Christmas in July is an Oz tradition).

Some of my chrissy stuff is too cute to hide away. My Littles' doll's house (Mattel's Littles family!) is permanently set up for christmas, & there are lotsa' chrissy teddies in the general teddy collection. The Librarian Christmas decoration (one of the smallest & cheapest items from one of those extensive & expensive Christmas Villages) sits on my computer desk all year round. There are also an assortment of Chrissy decorations that were hiding when I put away the rest of the decorations in July.

And I still haven't started making the 2008 decoration, tho I did bring out the materials & place 'em on the overcrowded floor.

Now that I've finished the 1000-piece jigsaw ...

I can start the next one, or the 748-piece one!

Or maybe the 3 Wise Men/Kings decoration
