Her son Baron was probably named by Donald since he used to use the alias Baron when he did radio call-in shows in NYC. Trump doubled down on the executed Pretti, slandering him even more yesterday, while Homan promised a kinder, gentler ICE. What is happening is the same, but all before sunrise. |

Subject: RE: Convicted felon US Prez 47/Don't Say His Name From: Sandra in Sydney Date: 30 Jan 26 - 04:45 PM from (Australian) ABC Religion & Ethics program ‘The ugly American’: Trump is uncouth and nakedly imperialistic, but we must imagine a future without him You can hear Professor O’Connor discuss Trump’s territorial ambitions and disruption of the “rules-based international order” with Waleed Aly and Scott Stephens on The Minefield. US President Donald Trump believes he should have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for what he (falsely) claims to be his role in “having stopped 8 wars PLUS”. But it seems he will accept Greenland as a consolation prize. That he felt personally slighted by the Nobel snub is abundantly clear from a remarkable letter he sent to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre: Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize … I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America. Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, and why do they have a “right of ownership” anyway? … I have done more for NATO than any other person since its founding, and now, NATO should do something for the United States. The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland. When asked by reporters from The New York Times why the United States needed to “own” Greenland, he said ownership was “Psychologically important for me”. But this interest in acquiring Greenland is nothing new. He expressed it repeatedly during his first term, and told Peter Baker and Susan Glasser back in 2021: (read on) |

Subject: RE: Convicted felon US Prez 47/Don't Say His Name From: Backwoodsman Date: 30 Jan 26 - 03:26 AM Once again, the FUOB has attacked Jerome Powell, calling him a ‘moron’, over the central bank’s Federal Open Market Committee’s decision not to artificially cut interest rates. ”Because of the vast amounts of money flowing into our Country because of Tariffs, we should be paying the LOWEST INTEREST RATE OF ANY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD,” he said… The president did not explain what, if anything, revenue from tariffs (which are import taxes paid by Americans and not by foreign countries as he often claims) had to do with the Fed’s “overnight rate” that lays out how much interest banks can charge each other for short-term interbank loans… Tariffs have made America strong and powerful again, far stronger and more powerful than any other Nation. Commensurate with this strength, both financial and otherwise, WE SHOULD BE PAYING LOWER INTEREST RATES THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD,” he added…” Read the full article from The Independent here. Are Americans really so stupid as to believe the bare-faced lie that tariffs are paid by foreign countries? Tariffs are paid for by Americans, there is no vast flow of money into the US from tariffs, so why isn’t the FUOB called out on the lie? |

Subject: RE: Convicted felon US Prez 47/Don't Say His Name From: Helen Date: 27 Jan 26 - 01:09 PM I have read a few articles on ABC (Oz) News which bring a glimmer of hope, in a few different situations. Individually, each situation may look like nothing much, but combine them all and consider the fact that they are happening simultaneously, around the world and in the US and that is where the glimmer of hope can be found, IMHO. Trump administration sued by families over deadly Venezuelan boat strike "In short: The Trump administration's military campaign of striking boats in the Caribbean and Pacific oceans is facing its first legal challenge through the US courts. "Families of two men, Chad Joseph and Rishi Samaroo, allege the pair were murdered while returning to the Caribbean island nation of Trinidad during a strike on October 14 last year. "The Trump administration has previously framed the attacks as being a war against drug cartels." What is in the EU-India trade deal and what does it mean for global trade? Note: the main concept of this article is that Trump's tactics are working against both him and the US in relation to the economic decisions of other countries. Tensions in Minnesota could send the US into another government shutdown — here's why "Politicians across the spectrum in the United States are looking for ways forward as public outrage intensifies in Minnesota. "As President Donald Trump sends in his 'border czar', Democrats are weighing whether to trigger a partial government shutdown." This article is by a highly valued ABC (Oz) analytical journalist, Laura Tingle - always worth reading, IMHO: Immigration was at the centre of Donald Trump's 2024 win, but it's now mired in controversy "Donald Trump's presidency is increasingly being described as at a turning point that compels the Congress to take action to restrain him. "The political mishandling of an escalating ICE crisis in Minneapolis — on top of a series of foreign policy threats and reversals — resulted in a poll by The Economist/YouGov finding an extraordinary 71 per cent of Americans reporting they felt like the country is 'out of control'. "More than 60 per cent say the country is on the wrong track, and 58 per cent are dissatisfied with the way democracy is working. "And just in case you think this might simply reflect one side of politics in an increasingly bitterly divided America, 50 per cent of those saying they felt things were out of control identified themselves as conservatives." There are a lot more of these situations which are being reported on, and I have a sneaking feeling that the multiple and various sheepdogs are closing in on the renegade. |

As an adult with the Taj Mahal Casino, he found out the Mob had to be paid and how selling off in bankruptcy is part of the plan. Extortion and threats were now in his playbook. This strategy has worked for him to this day. He demanded billions of dollars from S Korea and recently piled tariffs up on them for not paying promptly. Even an addled brain from lead poisoning can use bigotry and mob mentality effectively. With more power mere threats can be replaced with various criminal acts. He is currently enjoying his adventures with vicarious murder. |

Subject: RE: Convicted felon US Prez 47/Don't Say His Name From: Stilly River Sage Date: 26 Jan 26 - 09:49 PM Tonight Rachel Maddow is discussing the crumbling of support for these ICE and Homeland Security officials (including the top - Noem) within the White House. This doesn't mean that Trump or Miller are changing their minds about their policies, but it means they realize they are in a lot of trouble and will cut their losses by tossing out a few administrators. Things to consider in regard to all of these protests: in the US citizens and residents of all races are stepping up, but the Anglo population feels safest about going out because they are White. They are defending their friends and neighbors who are immigrants or naturalized or who are undocumented. Clearly that sense of privilege and safety has been shattered with the execution of Good and Pretti. They mean well, but until the whole white population is equally outraged when brown and black immigrants and citizens are harmed (and there have been many more hurt and killed) with each case becoming a huge headline, we're not there yet. Episodes come to the top - the ICE folks using a five-year-old as bait to get his father to come out of the house, the various early deportations that ignored judges saying "not so fast." Supporters of African American murder victim Brianna Taylor are incensed when EuroAmericans chant "Say Her Name" for Renee Nicole Good, feeling that it has been appropriated and not enough attention is paid to minority victims of this bad behavior (and past offenses by police in general). There is a lot of work to do. Right now, it would be best if all of the groups can work together, instead of arguing amongst themselves. (Trump and his ilk use the tool of dividing us so we bicker amongst ourselves, weakening our strength to get rid of them.) |

This is only a taster; I can't do full justice to the original, which is around forty column-inches (one-and-a-quarter pages) in length. (It may or may not now be available for reading in full on TNW's website.) It mentions that the Oik *wants* riots at home, but not why. He's already cried "havoc" and let loose the orcs of ICE, but to cement him in place forever, he needs an insurrection, or something which passes for one to F*x News's satisfaction. But these pesky citizens will insist on videoing real and contradictory evidence. How long before a camera is reclassified as a firearm? PS: The Mouth of Sauron, in her press conference just concluded, alleged that there's now been two fingers bitten off by protesters. No pictures, let alone hands, were produced as evidence. |
