Joe the Plumber failed to show at a McCain rally yesterday. Some spokesman for the campaign was actually babbling on about how they look to Joe for his insight and wisdom - an NPR interview. I was dumbfounded.

We hired a licensed plumber to install a second bathroom. We waited, and waited, finally, he told us he wasn't going to do the job. That pissed me off so I did it myself.

Maybe I should get a license...the test in Maine is easy, all you have to remember is:
Hot on the left, cold on the right, and shit won't run uphill.

Nah, Sorch... This is Page County, Virginia and ya' just don't do that kinda stuff 'er someone is gonna burn yer project down... Heck, this county is so corrupt that our sherrif was just arrested on 22 counts of doing stupid stuff...

Heck, I paid the guy for the 3 days and fired him so he prolly didn't even know he'd been fired... There's ways of doin' it so that the guy ain't gonna burn yer stuff... But he joins a list of other folks who I've used for a day or three before having to let 'um go...

Yeah, Rap... Know what ya' mean... Luckilly I figured this guy out purdy quick... Had I been on the job watching him he woulda been gona after an hour but...

....alas, I wasn't and he got in several days of work (if you can call it that) before I got back to that project, took a look at his work and fired him... Looks as if I'll have to finish out the rest of the plumbing on that job...

Well, Bobert ol' buddy, that's why I get LICENSED plumbers to do my plumbing work. I've had too much experience with septic tanks, stopped-up toilets and drains, and water that won't flow. The money you save at the beginning you pay out at the end. (And that includes both of my brothers -- wouldn't trust either one of them within fifty feet of a chain wrench or a faucet reseater.)

...well, having spent the entire day working behind a loacl Joe the Plumber I am now even further in Obama's corner...

Grrrrrrr...

There is a reaon why guys like Joe the Plumber would be better off doing somehting else and that is, ahhhhh, they don't know jack about plumbing... Yeah, like Joe the Plumber, I hired Junior the Plumber, who was not licensed but convinced me that he knew what he was doing... What a friggin' mess... I had to cut it all out and start from scratch...

Yeah, okay, I hate plumbing but unlike the Joe the Plumbers of the world, I do know how to do it correctly...

So yeah, I now better understand why this screw up is endorsing the other screw up for president... Birds of the feather...
