Subject: RE: stellarium - neat software to see constellations From: Keith A of Hertford Date: 22 Feb 10 - 04:02 AM I use Heavens Above. You give it your coordinates, or just find your location on their lists, and it gives you a chart for any time you want. It also gives you satellite passes and Iridium Flares. http://www.heavens-above.com/logon.asp?TimeOut=True |

Subject: BS: stellarium From: peregrina Date: 20 Feb 10 - 02:42 PM I saw this demonstrated recently in a sort of travelling temporary planetarium: stellarium and it was wonderful. --it's free, open-source software that lets you replicate the stars in the night sky in your location, and at your time...all the stars, not just the few that can outshine light pollution. |
