I was down below this afternoon and them frogs was horny... I mean, they only mate once a year and it's usually i April but these guys had dig in 'casue the pond was dry (at least looked dry) so I reckon they hadn't *had any* for going on 15 months... Now I heard ol' Tom early when the frogs were just getting started but when they all got it going I reckon scared Tom the heck outta here... I mean, he would have prolly looked like Marilyn Monroe in a 50s GI camp to them frogs... Ol' Tom prolly just sneaked away... I woulda... Heck, I didn't want to get too close to them frogs myself... I mean, I just read in the National Enguirer about... Nevermind, gonna give me bad dreams... B~ |

Subject: RE: BS: Can a turkey mate with a frog??? From: Skivee Date: 04 Jun 10 - 03:47 PM Gull-dang, Mr ex-presidential-candidate Bober5t. You mountain folk can turn anything into porn! I suppose that it gits kinds quiet up in those hollars, huh? If those two actually go it on the results could be frightening. Imagine the sight of turkey-frogs hopping and flying around the yard, their big sticky tongues snapping up mega-mosquitoes from the side of the feed lot, chirping and gobbling while they flap their way over the fence to prey on the chickens next door. The mega-mosquitoes would be a mistaken experiment by Monsanto that would have terrible consequences later. |

Subject: RE: BS: Can a turkey mate with a frog??? From: Donuel Date: 03 Jun 10 - 05:24 PM The chirps of the woodland toads here in the spring have a mating song that starts with a single note and a magor third then adds an extra note week after week until the main event arrives and a major seven augmented 5th chord is sounded at the peak of mating season. The chord is compelling in its volume and urgency for resolution. |

Subject: RE: BS: Can a turkey mate with a frog??? From: Melissa Date: 03 Jun 10 - 04:25 PM ..it's all fun and games until the eggs are born. Whether she's frog or turkey, the female never quite recovers. She's either shredded or drowned in the process of creating a family. |

Subject: RE: BS: Can a turkey mate with a frog??? From: LadyJean Date: 02 Jun 10 - 10:47 PM My sister has a lot of tree frogs near her place, but the turkeys weren't interested. Now I met a lady who was horrified when a rabbit tried to mate with her cat. The cat was very willing. The lady was shocked and, she told me, called the vet to see if she would have a "cabbit". |
